Culling

Introduction

Sang is chosen for the Culling, a series of fights to the death that are generally played by men. In fact, Sang is the first woman selected, well, ever. As the games start, and Sang forms bonds with a group of nine men, she comes to realize that there are other factors at play than what she originally thought. 

cull (kəl)
verb - present participle: culling

    • reduce the population of (a wild animal) by selective slaughter.
    • send (an inferior or surplus animal on a farm) to be slaughtered.

This story is a fanfiction for the Ghost Bird series by CL Stone. The setting and the premise of this book are based semi-loosely on The Hunger Games universe. Most of the significant diversions occur after the first half of the first part of the book. You do not had to have read the either series in order to understand this fanfiction.

I own nothing except the original characters within, and the graphics that are created by me.
