Lost - Thomas x Reader (Part 2)

This one shot is about Thomas from the Maze Runner which of course I didn't own. I hope you'll enjoy this.

And her we have part two as I promised.

(Y/n) P.O.V.

2 days before . . . 

I always wanted to get inside the Maze, even if I didn't manage to become a Runner. I knew that the answer at this whole thing was outside there. I couldn't stand watching the others suffering because of this Maze! I had to to something about it. So one day I went to the opposite doors, those that nobody controlls, not even Gally. It was so easy to get inside then, none noticed it. 

I ran through the corridors. Of course I brought a clock with me, so I could controll what time it was. Plus I looked at those maps with Thomas thousands of times so there's no way I'll get lost. I just needed to analyze this place by myself. 

Shame that in my way I met a griever, let's say this. I was walking around when I heard a streange kind if footsteps coming from the corridor at my right, I turned and I saw it. I ran away as fast as I could. Another reason why I didn't become a Runner, I'm not fast. 

When I was sure I was safe I looked at my clock and I noticed it was too late to get inside the Glade. And I was so damn hungry that I couldn't help but to eat the ivys around me. They were the only thing I could find. 

Then I hid behind them and stood there hoping that the grievers wouldn't see me, but I wasn't this lucky. In fact one saw me and I had to run away again.

I ran as fast as I could but it got me and it stung me. I was slowly becoming weak and even less fast.

I fell on the ground and there I stood hoping that it would have thought that I was dead.

I didn't care to be brave anymore, I just wanted to survive and go back in the Glade.

But it stung me! It's the end now, I will get crazy and Alby and the others will send me out there again. I'm not even sure I'll survive...

Luckly the griever really thought I was dead and go away. I reached the nearest wall with ivy. My heart was beating faster and my breath too was getting worts. I was sweated and my vision blurred. Soon enough I fainted.

But I had a strange dream. More than I dream I realized that those were my memories.

I was with Minho and Newt, my best friends.

-Thomas is being strange these days, didn't you noticed it?- I asked to the others two.

-Actually I was thinking this too- Newt said and Minho agreed with us

-The he acts ... I feel like something is about to happen, but what?- I sighed.

-Anything it is he doesn't want to tell us- Minho said with a bit of anger in his voice.

-Or maybe he just can't tell us- I corrected him -I mean, I'm sure he trust us and if something bad is happening and he could tell us I'm sure he would-

This was the first part of the memory in the second one I was with Thomas.

-Thomas?- I said between my sobs that I couldn't control- What's happening?? Why are Newt, Minho suddenly disappeared!?- I was really worried but I could see it in his face thag he was too, but he knew whay was going on.

-I'm sorry (y/n)- He said hugging me, I felt my cheeks turning pink -I had to do that...- My eyes widened.

-What....? Did you ....? Are they....?- I didn't know which words to use. It was impossible....

-No!- He half yelled -Of course not, they're just in another place but they're safe and sound. I promise-

-Can't you bring them back here? They are our best friends!-

-I can't-

Alld changed again. I was walking through a corridor when I saw Teresa walking in the opposite direction and she blocked my way.

-You have to leave him alone, you have to leave US alone!- She said, I didn't replay -Whatever we're doing is not your business-

-ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DISAPPEARING! I'M WORRIED AND OF COURSE I WANT TO KNOW WHERE THEY ARE!- I couldn't help but shout to her.

-Instead you'll have just to suffer while living this way- She said with a smile, I had never been so angry with as I was in that moment -And don't worry- She said as she started walking away from me -You'll meet them again sooner or later. But....- She became suddenly dead serious -Don't get close to Thomas anymore. You don't have to do anythinf with us. You'rw basically useless and once you'll be again with your beloved friends I know that you'll die in a few days-

I was glad that thay memory faded living place to another one. There I was terrified.

Why didn't he came to dinner?? Ever since Teresa told me to stay away from them I did as she told me even if it was difficult. The only time that I was able to speak to him was during breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I didn't see him that whole day.

-Ehm ... Teresa, you know where Tho- I tried to say but she didn't let me finish.

-Like I said it's not your business. But if you really want to know the both of us will see them again tomorrow. We are the only two left there- She said calmly.

The next and last one was the most confused yet most revealing.

Where are were we heading to? I didn't kniw, but the day before Teresa said that we would have met Thomas and the others so I wasn't that worried.

-Are you ready for the injection?- A nurse asked me.

-I i .... Injection??- I said surprised and a bit worried.

-Yes, didn't I tell it to you?- Teresa asked me, she clearly knew that she didn't tell me. The nurse laughed.

-No, you didn't-I just said.

-Well dear (y/n) you said you wanted to know where the others are gone, right?- She asked me.

-Teresa! You can't tell her, she doesn't have to know!- The nurse yelled to her.

-Does it matter now?- She said avoiding the nurse -I won't use too much words. You know that the Flare out there is killing millions of people, right?- She didn't wait for me to answer and not even to nod -We need to find a cure. And this test is of use for this- I was confused and she noticed that -Of course you know nothing about the test. The Maze's test, all the others has been sent to in a Maze.. There are really dangerous things out there, and they have to escape from there- I didn't know what to say. I thought that she had already finished explaining so I let my arm free for the injection even if I was a bit scared -Oh, one last thing. That injection will make you forget everything-

-Eh??- I got suddenly worried. But it was too late.

-In just a few minutes you will remeber nothing but your name. You won't remeber Thomas, Newt or Minho. And they won't remeber you. It will be like you haven't ever met- She said while I was fainting.

And then I didn't saw anything more.

I woke up in the Maze under the ivys, but one thing surprised me. I didn't have the symptoms of the griever's sting. I was alright.

But I still had to go back to the Gladr and say the truth to the others.
