jimin walked out of the school campus as the cruel monday for he and all his friends had ended. his smooth skin was tinged pink on the tip of his nose and his cheeks. he headed towards the subway station that was located a few blocks away and endured the light snow fall; he really just wanted spring to come and for the grass to grow.
he and yoongi hadn't spoken since their only class together ended, and even then all jimin could manage to squeak out was a goodbye and was ignored by the elder. it hurt, but if yoongi needed space he was going to give him just that.
jimin boarded the subway and concealed himself in a corner since the shuttle was cramped and crowded with other students. he noticed several couple's aboard the subway. usually he would coo at the sight of young love, but today he couldn't stand the sight of it. maybe it was because he didn't have someone to spend valentine's day with.
the ride home felt incredibly long as he groaned in distaste as he saw the couples. regardless, the trip was a short duration of ten minutes to his stop and then a short ten minute walk to his house. when he arrived home he immediately headed to his bed and lied down, feeling the weight of the day subsiding. he cast his phone aside and sunk into the soft mattress, something that had become a routine after school hours.
jimin had almost forgotten he had dance practice at a new studio that day. his already cloudy mind was polluted with worries and thoughts of how he might not be as talented as the other students in his classes. he felt a buzz reverberate through the bed as it sat next to him. before picking it up he sighed and then brought the screen close to his face. he had received a text from yoongi and he felt his mood brighten a little bit at the sight of his name on his screen.
