part 15 - My lifesaver

Arnav came downstairs and sat next to di. Khushi had Ayaan on her lap and just looked at Arnav. She wanted to know what happened in the room. Shyam also came to the living room and sat to anjalis left, so that she was between Arnav and Shyam.

"So what was work like damaji?" Asked nani.

Shyam smiled.

"Just like always nani ji.."

Nani just smiled and nodded.

"Arre! You were in mumbai and didn't boight me anything?" Asked anjali like a little kid.

"Rani sahiba..you really think i forgot you? Just wait till i give you my present."

Anjali smiled and blushed.

Arnav just looked away, he felt disgust by shyams words. He didn't know where to look so he just watched Ayaan who was kissing his mothers cheek. Arnav smiled at his sons action.

Khushi just smiled showing her teeth.

"Ayaan what are you doing ?" Said khushi laughing.

Ayaan started to pull her long black hair.

"OUCH!" Said khushi in pain. That's the first time Ayaan is pulling her hair.

"STOP IT!"

Arnav got up and walked to them. He stroke ayaans back and spoke to him.

"Ayaan don't pull mommys hair..look."

Arnav touched ayaans hand and khushis hair which was in his fist.

"Mommy cries if you hurt her, don't do that big boy." Said arnav and stroke Ayaans hair with his other hand now.

Khushi hust looked at arnav. She was speechless at his behaviour.

Arnav saw that khushi was staring at him and started smiling again. The whole family didn't know what to say. They never saw arnav in that position.

"Yeah nannav is right big boy!"

Both arnav and khushi turned their head to NK.

"Don't hurt mommy otherwise she'll cry and daddy doesn't like to watch mommy cry, right nannav?" Said NK.

Khushi looked at arnav and he just nodded. Ayaan let go of her hair an hugged arnav. Khushi fixed her hair right and wanted to tske ayaan back on her lap but he didn't want to let go of his father.

"Let him br with me please." Said arnav.

Khushi had no other choice, at least srnsv was his father and there's nothing bad st spending time with his own son.

Arnav walked with Ayaan sround the house.

"Chandini bitiya..can you bring us some chai please?" Asked nani.

"Of course nani." Chandini answered with a smile and went to the kitchen.

Khushi wss now slone on the sofa, when NK sat next to her.

"Hello khushi ji."

Khushi smiled.

"Nanhe ji i really missed you a lot in this one year." Said khushi.

"Acha?" Asked NK with wide eyes.

"Wow! Khushi ji thinks about me!" He thought.

"Lekin khushi ji..you also missed someone else right?" Asked NK.

"What rubbish are you asking nanhe ji? I didn't miss him! He's my ex husband, he's getting married to chandini ji! And-"

"Khushi ji khushi ji relax! I was talking about Di." Said Nk.
