(Mika POV)
"I dyed my hair for the first time...I wonder if you would make fun of me," I say as I run my fingers through my lavender hair with a tired yawn. I was trying to do anything that could distract myself from the clicking, beeping, and humming of countless machines keeping Pierce alive.
"Maybe you would think it's cute. I guess I won't know until you wake up huh?" I ask him but the ventilator's click is my only response as I sit forward in my seat.
"I've heard that sometimes when a person is in a coma they can still hear when people are talking to them, so I'll make sure I'm careful with my words in case they come back to haunt me later," I giggle, feeling insane as I rest my forehead against my small fist, leaning on the bed.
"It's been three months since you fell asleep. Tae, Clara, Peter, Joseph, your entire family. They all need you," I remind him, gently squeezing his hand with my free hand.
"I need you. It's been so long since I've seen your beautiful smile, but not a day has gone in all these years where I don't think about it at least once," I keep my warm hand in his and even though he couldn't hold it back, just touching his skin gave me some relief.
"What am I saying? I'm sorry Pierce, I guess I got so carried away that I forgot you just lost your boyfriend...You would probably rather have Alejandro here instead of me. I did break your heart after all," I apologize and pull my hand away.
"Just get better and wake up soon okay?"
