"Peter, I'm sorry to say this but we're not getting as much brain activity before. He's not brain dead just yet but if he doesn't wake up soon, I'm afraid we're going to reach that point." One of the neurologists updates me as I take a look at my brother's latest scans.
"Every day he goes on like this...you know we're looking at paralysis or serious brain detriments. Even if he does wake up there's no guarantee he'll be able to have the best quality of life anymore," He says and I put down the scans. Covering my face with my hands from the stress of it all.
"And what do you want me to do?" I ask.
"I think it's time to start getting a plan put together...in case he passes or is declared brain dead. It could be any day now Mr. Grayson," he says slowly and I nod, running my fingers through my hair.
"I understand,"
