Oh boy... it has been quite a while since I updated huh?

I decided to take a short break after Harlita Week since it kinda drained me out after I wrote that huge poem. But I am back again and shall deliver a quality request!

This one is a Hayagura chapter that has been requested within Harlita week so I decided to finish this request before I move on to the other ones. :)

Anyways, enjoy the show!

Kagura sighed as she sat on the table, her eyes staring at the distance as she stood on the balcony of the building. Her eyes looked sad as she gripped her umbrella tightly. Her mouth opened as she started to sing a song.

Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand
But I still need love 'cause I'm just a woman
These nights never seem to go to plan
I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

Tears fell from her eyes as she darted around the area, looking for any sign of the one she loved. The full moon shines the field yet no sign of the shadow ninja as every minute of it makes her heart feel worse.

She needed him - but he isn't here.

This ain't love, it's clear to see
But, darling, stay with me

Her voice quivered as she kept singing, her eyes never leaving the area as Kagura kept singing, despite on how shaky and unstable her voice is.

She wanted him to know how much she missed him despite he thinks she doesn't care.

But why would he think of that?  She was always by his side at the moments where he was struggling, the happy moments that he did something successful and such.

She always supported him no matter what and all she ask is to be there for her.

Why am I so emotional?
No, it's not a good look, gain some self-control
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn't hurt

Kagura always knew that he almost never shows his emotions. He was like a closed jar that you can never see the inside of.

She always wanted him to open up, to let him know that there is someone that can understand him...

But he wouldn't despite all odds, and it did hurt her that he doesn't trust her enough for him to say what was hurting him inside despite all the years they had been together.

She never asked for anything else.

She never asked anything from him.

She never asked to love her or something.

All she really wanted... was for him to stay with her no matter what.

Kagura finished the song as she let tears fell from her eyes. She still looked at the balcony, that had a good view of the gate of the village, just to see if he was gonna come back home.

It may take a month, a year or maybe even a decade. But Kagura won't stop hoping that he will come back.

Her face went into a small smile as she looked up in the full moon. She always loved the philosophy of balance as it reminds her about him and herself.

"When there is light....there's shadow..." She muttered to herself as she stayed on the balcony, feeling the cold night air as she continued to wait for the shadow ninja to come back home.

Quite a short yet emotional one. I had this idea for quite a while so I decided to execute it despite on how small it was.
