Yi Sun Shin Vs Bane

It was a quiet day on the side of the coast. The major navy general, Yi Sun Shin, was off patrolling with his turtle ship as he wad moving back and forth of the sea ridge, watching intently the waters with his trained eye. The weather was cloudy and misty but it didn't affect the navy general as he was used to such conditions. He looked up to see the cloud darkened and the wind picking up.

"Seems like a storm is coming..." Yi Sun Shin muttered lowly as he turned his turtle ship back to the land as the waves started to rise up, wishing wildly as the winds influenced the waters.

The navy general kept a calm facade as he landed on his shore, soaking wet from the waves that washed to his body. But the navy general paid no attention to such conditions as he was used to it after years and years of fighting at sea. For him, the waves that splash to his body indicate something was... unnatural.

Suddenly, the navy general heard a thunder strike that was accompanied by howling gales. The navy general eyes narrowed as he knew what was coming. The only hero that was his arch nemesis when it comes to fighting at sea.

Bane, the Conqueror of the 7 Seas.

A wrecked ship came near the shoreline as the navy general prepared his katana. He did not want to face this adversary as he always come back. The spectral pirate was nigh unkillable in anyway as when Bane does get hit by a killing blow, he will just disappear and come back another time without any hitch at all.

But it doesn't mean that Yi Sun Shin won't give up without a fight. He won't let be bested on his island as he is the assigned protector of it.

He saw the spectral pirate on the front of the ship, laughing creepily at him with the spectral glow that surronded his body. Bane raised his right arm, which was similar to a lobster claw. It opened as it shot off a huge pressure of water in high speeds at the navy general. Yi Sun Shin did a backflip to dodged the shot and the explosion that came along with it as he brung out his bow.

"Better be prepared for your death Yi..." Bane said with a creepy laughter as he jumped off his ship to the shoreline, brandishing his scimitar that had a bluish glow on it. The navy general loaded his bow with an arrow as he charged energy into it, surronding the arrow with a red glow.

"You should know by now not to step on my land!" Yi Sun Shin yelled as he shot his arrow at the spectral pirate. The arrow zoomed at Bane, who had to block it with his scimitar. However, it wasn't a successful block as the arrow had way too much power behind it that it deflected the sword and hit Bane square in the chest.

The spectral pirate glared at the navy general, an arrow lodged onto his chest which he removed swiftly. "Lucky shot... that would have killed me if I hadn't blocked lad..." The pirate exclaimed, throwing down a barrel that started to heal him. The navy general grabbed another arrow from his quiver as he prepared another bow shot.

Suddenly, Yi Sun Shin sensed something above him as he looked up to see the wrecked pirate ship flying above him, dropping bombs at the navy general. He quickly ran away from the ship as it bombed the shoreline below, covering it in a dense cloud of smoke. The navy general turned around, charging his bow again and shot it quickly at the smoke cloud, hoping to catch the spectral pirate off guard.

Bane was prepared as he deflected the arrow shot with a shot from his arm cannon, creating another explosion that didn't phase him. As the smoke cleared, the spectral pirate charged at Yi Sun Shin, who dropped his bow to brandish his katana again.

Both clashed with their respective sword, igniting sparks from the said weapons. The navy general gritted his teeth as Bane's sword had damage him from the splash of it, making it hard to actually block the slashes from the spectral pirate. He dodged a downward slash as he retaliated with a slash to the midsection.

Bane saw this and jumped back, using his arm cannon to shoot a blast the navy general. Yi Sun Shin did a back flip to dodged the blast as his blades sent a red swor wave at the pirate, who got hit by it making him stagger. The navy general saw an opening as he went in to deliver another slash to the chest.

The spectral pirate managed to lean back to dodge it as he blocked another slash from Yi Sun Shin, sending another waves of sparks to the navy general. Yi Sun Shin ignored the pain as he kept the pressure up, closing in on the defense of Bane as the pirate struggled to dodge.

Getting slashed on the shoulders, Bane had enough as he shot another blast from his arm cannon. It almost hit the navy general as it created space in between them. Bane smirked wickedly as he shot his arm cannon to the sky, summoning his ghost pirate ship to bomb Yi Sun Shin as he summoned another barrel to heal himself.

The navy general saw this and had ran away from the ship, picking up his bow from the ground as he ran. When the pirate ship stopped, he charged up his bow and shot a charged arrow at Bane while raising a flag up in the sky.

"Sacred to the Sea!" He exclaimed as he waved it down. Suddenly, rains of arrows shot up from the island, dropping down on the spectral pirate who had no time to react. Bane screamed in agony as he was being pelted by arrows that he couldn't dodge as his barrel was no use on healing him.

After the barrage was over, the spectral pirate was force to kneel over from his injuries. He gasped as he looked ahead to see an arrow zooming at his skull. The arrow hit his skull as Bane had no energy to block it, which made him disappear in a cloud of white smoke.

Yi Sun Shin gasped as the waves started to calm down. The winds went back to normal as he sat on the shoreline, feeling tired and sore from the battle. He looked up to the sky to see that the clouds were starting to brighten, signifying that the sun was coming back. He smiled at this as he stood up, walking back to his base to clean himself up.

No matter who tries to invade the island, Yi Sun Shin will face them and let them feel hell from the navy general.

Another versus match, which this time is Bane against Yi Sun Shin! All I can say that Yi wins no matter what since he deals so much damage with his katana strikes and his 2nd skill. Bane can heal but it doesn't protect him from the barrage of strikes that Yi can do.

This was fun to write as it had been a long time since I wrote a versus. The last one was Hilda vs Freya, which was also a fun one to do. I shall do the requests now though as I see a Lancedette and Faber request, which I'll do after this chapter. :)
