Episode 30- A birthday surprise

I woke up before the alarm clock started ringing, God I'm so proud of myself. Today is Vaughn's birthday and I'm planning to throw a little surprise party for him. Well, maybe not a party since I'm sure Zed wouldn't approve it, maybe a little surprise for him perhaps.

"Good morning Vaughn" I said coldly

He turned around, beeming with a smile while greeting me a pleasant morning ahead. I turn around after getting a glass of milk without saying anything, he didn't called me when I was about to leave the kitchen but I'm sure he's sad because I didn't greet him a happy birthday.

I'm sorry Vaughn, but this is all my plan.

As I enter my room I saw Zed and Zoki sitting in my bed

"Good morning?" they said in chorus, which didn't sound's right.

"It's Vaughn's birthday" Zed said while running a finger at his hair

"I know, ano kayang ireregalo natin para kay Vaughn? Kung ibalot nalang kaya natin si Scythe para masaya?" I suggest

"Approve" sagot naman ni Zoki

"I'm just kidding, how do we suppose to wrap Scythe?"

"Are we really supposed to wake up this  early?" Zed said groan.

I snapped a finger at him "Of course, this is for our Mommy Vaughn's birthday, get up! c'mon lazy pants" I said energetically to somehow cheer then up.

"I slept late last night, you fucking told be to buy loads of stuff" Zoki curse at me, he's slowly dropping his body on my bed.

"Are you sure you know how to bake a cake?" Zed ask.

"Ako pa, ang dali-dali lang kaya nyan" I lied, but c'mon, cakes are easy right? Even my nine year old niece can cook a delicious chocolate cake, what else could go wrong?

"You sounded not so sure, but I guess we don't have a choice" Zed stand up and walk outside my room, Zoki is already sleeping in my bed.

Ayaw mong gumising ha

I kicked him hard causing him to fall on the bed, he got up scratching his head. "Lalabas na nga" he said. Oh my god, I manage to kick Zoki I'm so very fuckingly proud of myself.

Before I could perform a celebratory dance someone kicked me in the butt. Fuck! I would kill that freakin' bastard!

I turned around and saw the emotionless Zoki's irritating smirk.

Kalma Nate, birthday ng nanay nyo kaya wag kang gumawa ng gulo. Breathe in, breathe out.

Alalahanin mo na mas cute ka pa rin kesa sa lalaking yon sabi ng nanay mo

I step out of my room and saw Zed and Zoki sitting in the sofa, Zed's stroking Snow's fur while Zoki was having his normal morning cup of coffee. Vaughn was smiling in front of the two lads but he's completely and utterly ignored. Poor Vaughn.

"Wala ba kayong naaalala ngayon?" he said, not removing the smile plastered in his face.

"Walang pasok ngayon diba Vaughn?" sabi ko sa kanya habang naglalakad papalapit sa kanila.

"other than that I don't remember anything else, how 'bout you Zoki" Zed motioned Zoki, but Zoki just shrug, his attention was purely in his coffee.

"T-Talaga ba?" tanong ni Vaughn, finally his smile is gone.

Sorry talaga Vaughn, para din naman sayo itong ginagawa namin eh.

"Vaughn can you do the grocery today? I noticed that we don't have enough food stock in our fridge"
