Expect the unexpected

Chapter 16

"Bye" I tell my mom and get in Jenn's car.

"Hey." I say

"Hi" Jenn says.

"So how was your day yesterday?" I ask.

"Good." She says.

Jenn's been acting real weird lately. She barley even talks to me.

"Jenn did I do anything to you?" I ask.

"What do you mean?"

"You've been real short with me lately. You barley respond to me. You leave me in the mornings . And you lied to me about Jc not being able to take me home because he was working.

"I didn't know. I thought he did have to work." She says

"Ohh okay." I say.

I don't believe Jenn.  I could tell she was lying. But why would she do that... We pull out to the car and Jc is waiting for us. He says hi to Jenn then gives me a hug and says hi. When I turned around Jenn is gone once again.

"Do you know what's wrong with Jenn." I ask

"No. It's probably nothing. She probably just wants us to have alone time. " He says and smiles

"I suppose."

"So did your dad talk to you when he got home?" He asks

"Nope. I went to bed before he got home. " I say

" Oh. Well I hope he likes me. I don't want him to shoot me. " He jokes

"You don't have to worry about that." I laugh

"Good. You look beautiful by the way." He says

I smile at him.

"BEEP" The bell rings.

Jc walks me to class like usual. I sit down and class begins.

"BEEP" The bell rings.

I get to class and shortly after Melissa and Tasia walk in.

"Hey Vivi. " Melissa says.

"Hey." I say in confusion

"So I heard about you. " She says

What the hell is she talking about.?

"You heard what? " I ask

"How you're dating Jc. And rejected Tyler. Ouch " She laughs

"Oh. " I say

"Well you got you a good one. " She laughs

"I know i do. He's a great guy." I say

"Great in bed." She says while her and Tasia laughs.

What? She had a thing with Jc.  I've heard she's been around. But i would have never thought she'd have anything with Jc. I know she's saying this just to piss me off. And it's working.

"Can you leave me alone." I say

"Why. I'm just trying to be friendly." Melissa laughs.

"No you're not. You know exactly what you're doing. You want me to get upset. And I'm not going to let you get to me anymore. " I tell her while my voice got louder.

" Are you scared I'm going to steal him away from you?. She says with a smirk on her face.

"No I'm actually not. Whatever Jc did in his pass is in the pass.  And I know he wouldn't go for trash now." I say firing back.
