I wake up in a room that smells of freash lilac. It stings my nose, and my vision is blurry. I look around trying to understand my surrounding. I was unable too. I sigh, trying to getup and steady myself. There was a slight twing of plain that ran across my back to my ribs. Then I noticed every time I breathed It would hurt slightly. I sit down trying to compose myself, and rid the pain by gently massaging it.

"Good morning, (Y/n)!" I heard a voice peep. It was very familiar and cheerful. I was turned away so I couldn't identify the person behind me. My curiosity peeking and finally able to move myself I turn my head only to have my torso to follow after. I gasp in shock. Right in front of me was my tall, brown hair, bubbly bestfriend: Clair. I shimmy onto my feet and embrace her.

"Oh my god!" I say. I'm at a complete loss of words. She and I were a giggling mess, she and I sat down starting to catch up. I can see her uniform is on and she's wearing the MP. I feel slightly jealous. That feeling when she's around will never leave. It's not that I'm unhappy about the fact that she choose the MP as her deisred branch of military. It's because all of my deovtion and hard work I did; It got me no where! As we are catching up she then stops and gasps.

"Oh my god! (Y/n)! I totally forgot to ask! Did you hear? You are a fucking hero! I heard about your mission outside the walls and heard you killed on the battle feild! I didn't hear much on details but a lot of people are talking about you! What did you do?" Her eye were shinning brightly, and her hand rested on my thigh. I was confused to hear this.

"What do you mean? I'm the talk of the week..?" I ask, laying back on the bed.

"You killed a titan or something! you went against the rule of something! I've been hearing good and bad things. Mostly good but there are mentions of you going against rules and risking your owns and blah, blah, blah. I want to hear your side of the story!" She gestures to me, laying back on the bright white bed. I still didn't know where I was. I tried to think about what event she was talking about. I don't really remember much. I was trying to hard to remember that it almost gave me a headache. Then I remembered.

"Well, the troops were heading home, after clearing and checking on some titan tarritory. But we unexpectedly started to be chased by a titan. I was already distraught over my horse, (H/n)-" Before I could continue she interupted me.

"(H/n)? You mean the one you were like friends with? He died? Oh! I'm sorry!"

"Yeah. He died." I say sadly, "Anyways so I was pent up with anger, and sadness. The titan started to chase us and we couldn't escape without someone attack it. None of the soldiers took action and so I didn't follow orders and got my ass hauling. I demollished that damn titan!" I say cockily. I sit up and throw my arms up. I get off the bed and start for the door.

"Okay, two questions. One: How the actually fuck are you here? Aren't you on duty? And two: Where the actual hell am I?" I say giggle. She explains that she was granted permission by one the higher officers to come visit me. She couldn't stay for long because she had duties to fufil. She also explains to me that I was in a hospital room. I'm honestly sick and tired with me being put into so many hospitals. It seems all I do is get hurt!

"Well, I really miss you (Y/n) And I'm sure you have stuff as a soldier to do as well. I'll write to you soon but I figured I would wait to let you settle in, and I as well. I hope to see you soon! And don't get youself killed on that expedidtion you have coming up! Although I'm sure you won't! Cya!" I wave goodbye feeling sadness wash over me. I ignore it getting up and walking over to the table. There my uniform was neaty placed, folded and claimed to be wased my the note that was placed on it. I quickly dress myself walking out of the hospital room. I walk to the outside, and run into many people, soldiers and kids. Being stationed in town was a freqent and it made many feel safe to have soldiers around. I was quick to identify I was the head quarters. I walk around with a bit of a spring in my step, feeling famous for the dangerous move I commited in the move recent events.
