61. MM is Back - II

Day - 10 - (Chapters - 29, 30, 31)

Hey MM,

Manik is messed up. Yesterday when I went to his place, he was trembling. There was sweat all over his forehead. I haven't seen him this lost before. And even in such state, all he was worried was me going there at night. All he was concerned was about my safety. About my sleep. This guy is unbelievable. I can't even sleep now unless I am sure he's smiling again. I'm leaving for office.

Manik: Yeh ladki kitna tension leti hai. And what are these marks on the page? Seems like she was crying while writing this.

I can't believe this. He considers me as an important person, after bhai and Cabir bhai. I am so happy right now.

Manik: Cabir aur Bhai kya? Main toh Abhimanyu se pehle tumhe jaanta hun. Pagal ladki hai. Ise main apna pura life dene tayyar hun aur ise laga yeh mere liye important nahi hogi. Unbelievable.

MM: Mere samne bada hero bankar ghum raha hai. Yehi baat Nandu ko bolega toh pata chalega na use.

I am so so happy. Manik will give a chance for continuing his music. Cabir bhai was equally happy and Manik. I can't even imagine how happy he would be once he achieves his dream. After mom, it's Manik, whose music draws me towards it. Music connected us and I can't be happier seeing him sing again.

Manik: Music connected us? Kaise? I guess there's something more which I don't know. She knows only me from the band and now this. Is there any first part of this diary? Phirse search karna padega kya?

MM: Of course there's one. Phirse search karne jayega toh Nandu pakad kar maregi ise. Kitna funny lagega yeh.

Anyways, I wonder why Manik is scared of facing his band members, especially Mukti, I guess. Whatever happens tomorrow, Abhi and I, I won't let you suffer anymore, Manik. I can't let you lose that smile on your face.

Manik wipes off some tears which appeared unknowing to him.

MM: arey hero, ro mat na. Tujhe rote dekh kar kuch kuch hota hai.

Such a happening day. The cherry on top was, Manik gave me flowers. Those beautiful white roses. How much I love them. I could just keep on looking at them and touch them. He was sorry for yesterday but he can't be serious if he thought I was angry because he ignored me. I was worried about him more than angry. But who cares, I got my flowers.

Manik: Ek simple flowers se itna khush. Wow. Aur iss ladki ke sare expressions aur mood swings iss diary ke yahan aate hai kya? Bahar kitni shaant shaant rehti hai.

MM: Of course. Kyunki iss ladke se jyada Nandu ke liye main special hun. Huh. Proud me.

Day - 11 - (Chapter - 35)

Hey MM,

Guess what? I met Fab5 today. Haan, we were in the same school but I never crossed their paths due to the rumors about them in school. That they can make your life hell. But they are the sweetest of human beings. Alya and Dhruv are adorable. Mukti, she's my bhabhi now. Cabir bhai loves me so much. And Manik. Well, Manik is just Manik. Words always fell short to describe him, for the person he is. He is the perfect person I have ever met. He is the most beautiful soul even with all his imperfections.

Manik(wiping off his tears): Rulayegi kya pagli.

MM: Can I just ship them, already? Dono hi cute hai. But phir mera kya? Chalo, pyaar ke liye kya kya karna padta hai.
