after their little talk, taehyung told yoongi he still didn't want to ink his skin, he didn't give any particular reason he just said didn't want to.
for the next few days, they barely saw each other, the only time taehyung would see the older would be when he met the clients and made them pay, but he spent his days in his office.
he would always leave before his boss and barely get to say goodbye, he really didn't want to disturb him, but he actually wanted to spend time with him.
he decided to stay later than the usual this day so he could finally spend time with his boss, even if they were just enjoying his company silently.
he said goodbye to jeongguk who left work and took his sketch book and pencils to go in yoongi's office. he knocked softly and entered when the older told him to come in.
"hey, are you going home?" the older asked in a soft tone. in response, taehyung just sat at his own desk and smiled.
"i just thought i could spend a bit of time with you.. we barely see each other." he said shyly, not daring to look up. yoongi hummed and then asked
"i've been working on a big order, do you want to see?" taehyung nodded rapidly with a wide grin on his lips. he almost ran up to yoongi's desk and stood behind him.
he showed him several sketches and the actual drawing which was still on going. "a girl asked me a wolf head with mandalas all around it. she told me she wanted it to cover her whole back so i have to be very precise."
yoongi explained him what he did and how, his voice being quiet and raspy. taehyung was impressed by his talent, even if his drawings looked rough and sloppy, he could actually see all the details, he knew he spent hours doing a single tattoo and put his heart into it.
"i posted your art on my instagram, people contacted me. i took orders for you but you'll start to work on them later, the appointments are in more than 2 months." taehyung turned his face and smiled with his boxy smile, people would actually have his art carved into their skin.
"i really don't regret hiring you, you're amazing taehyung." they face were really close to each other and he younger couldn't even talk when he heard the nice words ringing in his ears.
yoongi was instinctively leaning in when they heard the little bell downstairs ring. yoongi groaned when taehyung stood up straight at the startling noise.
the shop was closed at this hour, it was almost 8pm so no one should be entering, at least it wasn't a client nor a worker since yoongi knew their schedules.
taehyung started to panic and hid behind the taller man. he grabbed his sweater in his fists and followed him close to check on the intruder.
the room was dark, they only saw a lean silhouette waiting at the entrance. the owner of the shop turned the lights on and taehyung jumped forward when he saw who was in the shop.
"jinnie!!" he almost shouted and crashed into the taller's arms. yoongi was watching the scene with a clenched jaw, he knew the man who was holding taehyung but he couldn't help but be a bit jealous at their closeness.
"hey baby! minnie told me you were working here so i decided to visit you. i'm back in the country for a couple of days and i'm free tonight, i thought we could go have dinner together, you have things to tell me as i see.." he said and winged his eyebrows while looking at yoongi who was still watching from afar.
"oh, this is yoongi, my boss. yoongi this is seokjin he's kinda like my big brother." taehyung introduced the two men who shook hand, and the younger of the two couldn't help but rest his hand on taehyung's waist.
"i spent the day with jiminie because he can't come tonight, he told me he's exhausted because of practice so he preferred to rest." seokjin informed before adding "but yoongi can come if you both want to, it'd be a pleasure." and smiled at him.
even if he was previously mad because of his closeness with taehyung, he had to admit he seemed like a really sweet guy. he made a mental note to ask taehyung about their relationship and how come he was that close with a worldwide famous model but agreed to go eat with them.
they were on their way to their car when yoongi remembered namjoon was a big fan of seokjin. "uh hey hum i really don't want to annoy you or anything but one of my close friend has like the biggest crush on you, i was wondering if he could come with us?" he asked with a small voice but confidence could still be heard.
the pink haired male instantly nodded and smiled widely "it would be a pleasure!"
