When I walked into history class I was surprised to see Trevor already sitting in his seat.

"You're here?" I said surprised.

"I didn't want to make you angry." He shrugged.

"Thank you." I smiled at him.

I slipped into my seat and listened as the teacher started the class. I couldn't help but glance over at Trevor, he was leaned back in his seat as he focused on what the teacher was saying.

"The outline for your project is due by tomorrow." The teacher announced.

I groaned. Me and Trevor still had so much work left to do. Our outline wasn't even close to being done.

"Hey, you want to hang out after school? I'm in the mood for ice cream." Trevor whispered.

"We need to work on our project." I reminded him.

"We can do that after."

"Fine," I caved.

He gave me a huge smile and turned back to what the teacher was saying.

Damn he had a smile that could melt any girls heart.

"I'll have a double scoop strawberry in a waffle cone." I ordered.

"And how about you?" The lady at the counter asked Trevor.

"I'll have the same but can I get that in a cup?" He ordered.

"You like strawberry ice cream?" I raised my eyebrows.

"Who doesn't?"

"I feel like a good amount of people don't like strawberry ice cream." I argued.

He just shrugged and waited for our orders to be ready.

Once we got our ice creams we sat down at a table.

"So what do you plan on doing after high school?" Trevor asked.

"I will probably go to a college close by. I want to study psychology."

"Why psychology?" He questioned.

"I want to help people. I've seen what the mind can do to people and I just want to help them win that battle with themselves."

"Wow, how noble of you." He smiled and took another bite of his ice cream.

"What do you want to do?"

"I want to go into the military but I don't know if I will." He answered.

"Why not?"

"I was named after my uncle who died while fighting for this country and I've seen how it has affected my mom. I know she would support me in whatever I do but I don't know if she could handle it." He explained.

"I think that if it is what you want to do you should go for it." I told him.

"Thank you Ella, you're kind of amazing." He grinned.

"You aren't so bad yourself." I laughed.

Once we were done with our ice cream we decided to go back to my house to work on the project.

We were sitting on the couch in my living room doing research and trying to finish the outline.

History was the worst. Actually I liked history it was just this project that was truly going to be the death of me.

"Can we take a break? We are basically done." Trevor asked.

We were almost done with the outline. We had to do a couple more sections and then it would be finished.

"Ok," I nodded.

We both closed our computers and set them aside.

"You want to watch a movie?" Trevor suggested.

"That's too long of a break." I shook my head.

"We can watch half the movie, finish the outline and then finish the movie." He tried to compromise.

"Fine but we are stopping the movie half way through no matter what is going on. I don't care if it is in the middle of an interesting part." I caved.

"Yes ma'am." He teased and went to pick out a movie.

He decided on the shining and we both sat back on the couch and started watching it.

"You want popcorn?" I asked.

"The movie already started. I think we should have done that before." Trevor laughed.

"Just pause it." I told him and went to the kitchen to make some popcorn.

I quickly returned with a bowl of popcorn and instructed Trevor to turn the movie back on.

"He already looks creepy, it's like he's set up to go absolutely crazy." I said pointing to the main character.

"I think it's called good casting. I couldn't imagine anyone other than Jack Nicholson playing that part."

I nodded in agreement and continued to watch the movie.

At about half way I think neither of us wanted to stop and go back to working but I grabbed the remote and paused the movie.

"Just when it was getting good too." Trevor sighed.

"I guess we will just have to hurry up and finish this outline then." I said and grabbed my computer.

Trevor followed my lead and we quickly started working on the outline again.

I looked over at him a couple times and couldn't help but smile. He looked so focused and I would be lying if I said he didn't look extensively attractive right now.

My front door swung open and I saw my brother walk through.

"I'm home," He yelled.

"Do you want the television? We can go upstairs." I offered.

"Nah you're fine I'm going to go take a nap." He said and trudged up the stairs to his room.

"Are you and your brother close?" Trevor asked out of the blue.

"We used to be." I frowned.

He just nodded and went back to work on the outline.

I couldn't help but think about my brother. Me and Jackson used to be so close as kids but I guess things change and so do people.

I tried to focus back on the outline and finished it up with Trevor. I didn't want to be a bad partner but my mind was elsewhere.

"Want to finish the movie?" Trevor asked once we finished our work.

I nodded and grabbed the remote and pressed play. I leaned back on the couch and made myself comfortable. I looked over to see Trevor already staring at me. We both smiled at each other before focusing on the second half of the movie.

I think maybe I was beginning to have feelings for this boy.

Trevor Walker what are you doing to me?

A/n;

I had a snow day yesterday but now it's like I don't want to get out of bed and go to my class. I have to leave in like five minutes to get there but I'm just laying in bed instead.

Anyways hope you enjoyed this chapter!!
