“Okay where are we going?” Mia asked as Iker drove the rental car that he had through the streets of Broederstroom, she was blindfolded with one of his ties; Mia didn’t know where he was taking her but he had told her that he’d had a surprise for her.

Iker chuckled patting her knee as he continued to drive down the road, he had done a lot of research and he was pleased with what he had come up with; he wanted to help Mia in any way possible.

“Are we leaving Broederstroom?” Mia asked trying to work out where they were, they hadn’t been in the car for long and she couldn’t help but be curious about where they were going.

Iker took a deep breath, he knew that Mia was going to move out of her family’s home when the tournament was over and he wished to help her in any way possible; he just hoped that she would like what he had done for her.

“We aren’t amor,” Iker said carefully pulling up outside of the apartment block, he took a deep breath as he turned off the engine and looked at his girlfriend; he wanted her to have somewhere that she could call her own and somewhere that wasn’t too far away from her family.

Mia frowned as she heard her boyfriend get out of the car, she sighed as she collected her black satchel bag that was between her legs; she had thought they’d be going to lunch since they didn’t have to worry about Iker’s parents, they had flown back to Madrid earlier that morning.

“Come along amor,” Iker said opening the door and helped her out, he grinned to himself as he admired her; she was wearing a black and white stripe top and high waist skinny ankle grazer jeans paired with black trainers.

Mia huffed as Iker steadied her, she didn’t know what he had planned but she hoped that it was worth it; he wouldn’t do anything that she didn’t like.

Iker wrapped his arms around Mia and held her with her back against his chest, he smiled as he carefully reached up and moved to remove the tie; he felt a little nervous about what she would think.

Carefully pulling the tie off, Iker took a deep breath as he allowed his girlfriend to see where he had brought her; he chuckled as she blinked confused as she took in the living room where they were standing before she turned to look at him.

“Iker?” Mia asked curious as to why he had brought her to this apartment, she tilted her head as she glanced out of the window; she knew they were in the newly rebuilt area of Broederstroom and she couldn’t help but be curious as to what was going on.

Iker moved to sit on the couch as he watched his girlfriend, he wondered what she thought of the place that he had brought her to; Iker knew that it had to be confusing and he hoped that she would like it.

“What do you think?” Iker asked sitting back on the couch, his brown eyes stayed on her as Mia tried to work out what he had brought her to the apartment for; he hadn’t told her anything about the apartment that they were now stood in.

Mia raised an eyebrow at him, she really didn’t know what he expected her to say especially since she wasn’t completely sure what was going on; he hadn’t explained anything to her.

“I’ve bought this apartment… it’s yours if you want it,” Iker said leaning forward and watched her, he knew that he would give her the apartment in a heartbeat if she asked him to.

Mia blinked in surprised as she stared at her boyfriend, she really hadn’t been expecting him to say anything like that to her; she moved to sit down as she wondered what to say, she really hadn’t expected that.

“You said you wanted to move out of your family home and I want to help you Mia,” Iker said as Mia sat down across from him, he knew she wouldn’t accept too much of his help but he wanted to help her in any way that he could.

The last thing Iker wanted was his girlfriend ending up leaving in a rough area and something happening to her, he couldn’t bear the thought that he could be playing a match only to then learn that she’d been killed in a mugging gone wrong; at least this way he could protect her.

“I don’t know what to say,” Mia whispered wondering what had made him do something like this, her blue eyes watched him knowing that there was something on his mind.

Iker sighed moving to sit next to his girlfriend, he carefully took her hand knowing that this was confusing but it was really just another sign of his commitment to her.

“Then don’t say anything,” Iker said carefully placing the keys into her hand, he offered her a small smile as he pressed a kiss to her lips; he just hoped that everything would be okay when she came back to the apartment after she’d spent time with him in Madrid.

“He bought you what?” Rosie cried as Mia finished telling her what Iker had done, she was still a little surprised that he had gone and bought an apartment for her to live in; Mia wasn’t sure what he was thinking when he had done it.

Mia was incredibly grateful that he had done something like that for her, however it did make her a little wary; Mia still had to decide what she wanted to do with her life.

Mia had a lot of ideas about what she wanted to do, she nibbled on her lip as she sat down on her hotel bed as she listened to her older sister talk

. “I can’t believe he bought you a brand new apartment,” Rosie said wondering what Iker was up to, she knew how much her sister seemed to love Iker and it worried her what he had planned; she already knew that Mia planned to go to Spain for a couple of weeks.

Rosie didn’t trust the footballer for a moment, she knew somewhere down the line he was going to mess up and hurt her sister; she only hoped that she’d be able to hunt him down and kill him when he did so.

“I know you don’t trust Iker… Rosie, but I really do think he could be the one,” Mia whispered looking at the bracelet on her wrist, a small smile formed on her face knowing that she could have found the one person that she wanted to spend her life with him.

Iker was something special and she doubted that she would ever find someone like him again, there was something about him that she liked and she wanted to find out what it was.

“That’s what worries me,” Rosie replied knowing what her sister was like, she had never seen Mia like this before and she really worried Iker would take advantage of her; she hated to think what he would do to her.

Mia sighed as she bit her lip, she knew that there was something that she could say that would change Rosie’s mind on her relationship with Iker.

Mia just hoped that whatever happened between her and Iker, her sister wouldn’t cause them any trouble; she could see herself building a future with her boyfriend.

“I’ll be okay,” Mia said knowing that it was all that she could offer Rosie to ease her mind, she just hoped that it was enough for now; the brunette wanted everyone to warm to Iker.
