You wake up to hear a loud thump from downstairs. "I've been shot!" You hear Tom, your husband of 2 years, shriek. Your eyes frantically looked for a baseball bat and quietly made your way down the steps. You turned to the kitchen to see Tom moaning on the floor. No blood, no sign of a criminal. "Tom?" You ask placing the bat on the table. "I banged my hip on the table" he moaned rolling to his stomach. You roll your eyes, "that's ridiculous." You say trying to contain your laughter. "Come on" you say extending your hand to him. He takes it and you help him up. You both sigh. "Hasn't that happened to you before?" He asked staring into your eyes as he tried to catch his breath. "No" you chuckle. "You don't understand my pain then." He stated. You laugh even harder and pull him to the couch. Tom playfully glares at you. "You love me" you say. "Yes, I do" he said and kissed your cheek before turning on the tv.
