I woke up to a warm body laying next to mine.

Weird, I though I had gone to bed alone last night.

Did something happen that I didn't remember?

My heart suddenly stopped.

Oh no.

What did I do last night?

The last thing I remembered was saying goodnight to Carson, and then going to bed.

Wait.

It couldn't be...

I slowly turned around, bracing myself to see him laying in bed next to me.

However, instead of seeing his muscular body, I saw Pancake the Dog snuggled up against my side.

"Phew," I sighed, slumping against the pillows. That was a close one.

"Well Pancake," I spoke to the dog for whatever reason, "Today is the day."

Today, I'm going home.

For some reason, my heart felt heavy at this knowledge.

However messed up this may be, I was kind of going to miss this time.

After getting over the initial, 'oh my god I've been kidnapped' phase, all I really had to do was hang out and do nothing. It was like a spontaneous vacation.

Plus, there was also Car- never mind.

"Well Pancake," I said to the dog, holding out my hand, "Friends?"

He looked at my hand, then jumped off the bed and walked out of the room.

Ouch.

I was about to slide out of bed and get ready, when there was a knock on the door.

I wasn't in the mood to open it, so I just decided to not answer. Maybe they'd think I was sleeping.

Unfortunately for me, the door then decided to creek open, and I was forced to dive back under the covers, curl up on my side, and close my eyes, letting my breathing become even.

Someone walked slowly into the room, and I mentally slapped myself.

How did I even manage to get into these situations?

The person made their way over to the bed, and came around to the side I was facing.

They then sighed, and I immediately recognized it.

Carson.

I felt a hand softly brush my hair away from my face. Then, it trailed down to my neck, and down the side of my body, finally resting on my hip.

Then he pulled away, and sat on the bed.

Not wanting him to look closer and realize I wasn't actually asleep, I feigned a yawn and my eyes slowly blinked open.

The first thing I saw was the hot guy sitting on my bed with his face in his hands.

It was kind of sad, actually.

Then, when he heard me stir, he looked over his face quickly brightened, as if to hide his sad mood a second ago.

"Oh, hey there," I said casually, faking another yawn. "When did you come in?"

He gave me a smile and laid back, bringing his hands up behind his head for support.

"Oh, you know," he said, looking up at the ceiling. "Been here all night."

I laughed, and playfully shoved him off the bed.

He let out a yelp as he tumbled off the edge and onto the floor.

"That wasn't very nice!" He complained after hitting the carpet. "I could've gotten injured. It could've been fatal."

"Don't be a baby," I told him, rolling my eyes.

Then my mood brightened a bit, and I peeked over the edge of the bed, telling Carson, "Today is the big day!"

He smiled widely, "When you say it like that, it sounds like we're getting married. Not that I'm complaining."

I rolled my eyes again and slid my legs over the ledge, hopping down and walking over to the bathroom. "Will you be this flirty when we're actually dating?"

"Yes," he answered immediately. Then he paused, and a mischievous smile took over his face. "Wait, did you just imply that you'd like to date?"

I turned my head away to hide my blush. "You only hear what you want to hear, don't you?"

"That's not an answer," He sang, rolling over and standing upright once again.

As I walked into the bathroom and got out a toothbrush, he followed me.

I unscrewed the cap and squeezed some toothpaste on it, and began to brush my teeth in front of the mirror.

Carson came up from behind me and rested his chin on top of my head, placing his hands on my waist.

I watched us in the mirror and tried not to grin at how cute it looked, and how much like a couple we seemed.

"If I were to ask you out right now," He began, watching my face for a reaction in the mirror, "What would you say?"

I finished brushing and took a cup off the counter, beginning to rinse.

Once I spit out the water, I put the toothbrush and paste away, saying nonchalantly, "I'll have my assistant get back to you."

He became amused at this. "I'll take that as a challenge."

I immediately spun around and put my hands up in surrender. "Oh no, whatever you're thinking-"

Before I could finish he scooped me up in his arms, literally sweeping me off my feet, and began carrying me out.

"This is unnecessary," I said, crossing my arms.

He merely laughed, and set me down on the bed.

Then, Carson kneeled down in front of me.

I raised my eyebrows, "Wow, we really are getting married, huh?"

He rolled his eyes and took one of my hands, dramatically proclaiming, "Hayley of New York, would you do me the honor, of going out with me?"

I thought. "I don't know... I mean, I'm no satanist..."

He scowled at the mention of his ex girlfriend, and I couldn't help but laugh at how adorable he looked.

"I will," I told him.

He feigned a sigh of relief, and fell backwards dramatically.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes again.

What was I going to do with this guy?
