"Master! I have something important to report!" <???>

The man came rushing into the Study Room of his Master.

"Oh? You're back? Just on time! Hand me the-" <???>

"My apologies!" <???>

Cutting off the words of his Master, he got on his knees and beg for forgiveness.

"Speak!" <???>

Seeing that the situation was not what he expected to be, he quickly changed his attitude.

"Yes. First of all... Our mission to retrieve the Legendary Cursed Sword was a failure." <???>

"Hmm?" <??? >

The Master raised his eyebrows after hearing that.

"We met with an unexpected encounter... When we got there we were prepared to enter but suddenly a group of people came. We let them in first to see what will happen, but then they came out not too long later without a single scratch. They were all completely fine." <???>

"What? How!? Isn't the cave is said to be the most dangerous? It's impossible for them to be harmless after going in. Even if they got in and left after, they should at least came into contact with the strong monsters inside. Are they an S-Ranked Party?" <???>

"That... I don't know. They look unfamiliar. None of them looked like those famous S-Ranked Adventurers." <???>

"Then get to the point! Did you deal with them!?" <???>

The master was starting to get agitated. His subordinate is beating around the bush instead of telling him what happened to the Cursed Sword.

"It seemed that that group had taken the Cursed Sword. When they entered the cave, there were three of them.but when they exited, four came out. We thought it was weird so we confronted them. I tried to fake my identity as an adventurer but unexpectedly the leader of the group noticed it. not only that, he even knew that I was a Demon." <???>

"Impossible..." <???>

The Master knew their characteristics looks exactly like a Human. So normally anyone who sees them will think they are Human. Nobody can distinguish a Demon from a Human. The only way is that they were told or they have some Unique Skills to check people's status. However both is impossible in this situation.

"Then how did it go?" <???>

"We were one-sidedly massacred. The whole group were killed. I would have been as well, but they left me to send a message..." <???>

"What's the message?" <???>

The subordinate took a moment to put the words he heard before telling his Master.

"The message was that if we want the Cursed Sword we have to take it from him if we can. And also to not disturb his wives." <???>

"Hah! Is that a threat!? Who does he think he is!? Saying that to a general of the Demon Lord!? And what about that nonsense? His wives!? Once I deal with him, his wives will be next in line!" <???>

The Master exclaimed furiously. Not only that he was not able to get the cursed sword, the idea of someone trying to threaten him was getting on his nerves as well.

"Tell me, how strong are they? If they can easily defeat you all, then we can assume that they are new S-Ranked Adventurer Party. We will send out-" <???>

"No we can't, Master! We weren't defeated by them. It was him. We were defeated by only one guy. That guy slaughtered us as if we were mere ants. He didn't even break a sweat when I fought him even." <???>
