Desires In Another World

(Here is a longer chapter than usual. Had quite the amount of things to write. Didn't expect to write a lot for this chapter. Anyways, hope you enjoy it! :)

Shin and his group are making their way to the Adventurers Guild. After what happened yesterday at the castle, Shin was able to get his reward for completing the quest made by the king.

Though there was a slight commotion along the way and also an interesting encounter, Shin still managed to get the rewards. Thankfully there wasn't any fight that took place which Shin didn't expect. He had thought that one of the knights might decide to pick a fight with him, especially Damian, since Shin caused a bit of a fuss in front of the king. Despite showing such disrespect, Damian didn't act of place which Shin felt impressed. Shin guessed that Damian might have holded it in to not cause any further ruckus. Thus saving Shin any unnecessary problem.

Leaving what had happened aside, Shin was satisfied to be able to earn a hefty amount of money from the rewards. 500,000 Qil seemed to be a lot, although he hasn't yet gotten a good grasp of the prices of things sold in this another world. But Shin still thinks it's a lot, so he had already thought of a list of things he wanted to buy.

Entering the Adventurers Guild building, again people looked at Shin and his group. This time Misomi was not with them. She felt overwhelmed after the incident at the castle, and so decided to stay at home to calm down.

Shin ignored the stares, and walked to the reception counter. Surprisingly, the receptionist was the same as when they registered as adventurers.

"Greetings, Shin, Shana & Iris. I have yet to introduce myself, my name is Fina. I've been assigned by the guild master to be your personal receptionist." <Fina>

"Oh? Is it because of what I said to the guild master that time?" <Shin>

When Fina said that she was going to be Shin and their personal receptionist, Shana & Iris was quite surprised. They didn't expect to receive such special treatment. Considering how they only just became adventurers. But when they heard Shin say the possible reason, they undersrood what the real reason might actually be.

"Probably? But I'm not sure. Though I was not informed of what happened nor the reason, the guild master gave me that responsibility. So I will have to follow. With that said, whenever you have any quest to do, enquiries or problems, please look for me for details and answers." <Fina>

"Alright, sure. I'm fine with it." <Shin>

"Really? Guild master told me that you might be against it, so I was told to persuade you the best I could. Guess I didn't have to." <Fina>

"Anyways, how will the rewards be given?" <Shin>

"Please give your Adventurer ID card. The money will be transferred into it, and it can be withdrawn anytime by thinking the amount while holding the card. Similar to checking your details." <Fina>

"Oh? It had such a feature? It's like having a portable atm machine." <Shin>

"A...t...m... machine...?" <Fina>

Fina heard a strange thing.

"It's nothing, forget it. Shana, Iris, give her your ID cards as well." <Shin>

"Hmm? What for?" <Iris>

"What do you mean, what for? We're splitting the rewards." <Shin>

"Shin, that's unnecessary. It's all yours. We don't need it." <Shana>

"Yeah! Shin-Sama completed the quest by yourself, so it should be all yours." <Iris>
