Desires In Another World

Chapter 41:

Shana had an unhappy face ever since Shin came back. He and Layla slowly walked towards her while feeling such a scary aura coming from her.

Once Shin was in close distance to Shana, she spoke with an unpleasant tone with her arms crossed.

"Shin, you said you were checking something out, but I didn't know you were doing this?" <Shana>

Her eyes glanced at Layla for a second and then turned back to Shin.

"You never told us the reason, and honestly me and Iris didn't want to pry on your bussiness all the time. But seeing that not only you came home late, but also brought a woman with you. I know your desire to increase your harem, but you can't just bring back one without telling me. So?" <Shana>

"Shana, listen! I was told about a slave auction, so I got curious. I went thinking that there might be interesting slaves that I could get my hands on. And hence this result." <Shin>

Shin explained as simple as he can, while feeling all nervous. Shana didn't reply and only sighed.

"Haah..." <Shana>

She turned around and walked away.

"Urgh..." <Shin>

Shin felt really guilty. Seeing his wife get mad at him made him depressed.

"Layla go and choose any room you want on the 2nd floor. The first two rooms on the right of the 2nd floor is already occupied, so you choose somewhere else. Once you're done go and have some rest, any questions you wanna ask can be done tomorrow. That's all, goodnight! ... Hey, Shana! Wait up! Please don't be mad!" <Shin>

After Shin was done telling Layla what to do, he then swiftly chased after Shana. Leaving Layla alone at the door.

"Hmm, so that's Shana, huh? Shit! Really hate to say it, but she's really beautiful... Whatever! I'll worry about it tomorrow!" <Layla>

Layla felt really irritated when admitting it. She then slowly entered the mansion and went up to the 2nd floor. She chose a room which was at the end of the corridor to the right. As soon as she came in, she swiftly jump onto the bed, before dozing off into dreamland.

The next day.

Iris had woken up earlier than usual. As she opened her eyes, she looked around but there was nobody. Usually there will be Shin beside her and Shana at the other end. However, now she was the only one on the bed.

With a suspecting thought, she got off the bed and hastily ran out of the room. Without any warning, she opened every door of the room on the 2nd floor. Except for Maya's and Misomi's room, since she knows that the two wouldn't be there. Opening the last door on the right side of the 2nd floor, she was surprised that it was occupied. But it wasn't occupied by either Shin or Shana. Instead, she saw an unfamiliar figure sitting on the side of the bed.

The two of them made eye contact.

"Who are you!?" <Iris>

Iris was the first one to ask.

With a wary look, that person replied.

"I'm Layla. You?" <Layla>

"My name is Iris! But you're not answering my question. I'm asking who're you!? I've never seen you here before, where did you come from?" <Iris>

Layla expression turned surprised, after hearing Iris's name. She quickly recovered and replied.

"Before asking about someone, shouldn't you tell yours first? But whatever. One way to answer that, is that I'm Shin's slave." <Layla>
