"Morning Harvey," I said.
"Jack, will I have a message on my cup this morning ?"
"You shall see, the regular?" I questioned.
"Of course," he replied. See, knowing that he always comes in at 8:00 am sharpe, I had his drink ready. I always put a pick up line on his drink.
Monday I wrote, "Do you need a plaster after falling from heaven?"
Tuesday I scribed, "If I am helicase, then are you DNA, because I want to unzip your jeans."
Wednesday I wrote, "I know you are busy, but can you add me to your to-do list?"
Thursday message read, "Life without you is a broken pencil...pointless."
Today was friday, and so, I handed him a cup. This time he also handed me a cup, and hastily left the coffee shop. The cup showed his number and a little note, "I know this are not nearly as amazing as your notes, but will you go on a date with me?"
I knew who I was going to call later today.
