"Whooo! That wasn't easy." Baekhyun said as he breathed out the air he has been holding since he stepped a foot inside our home, my parents' house.
"At least it turned out great." I caught his face between my hands and pulled him for a kiss. "They already love you."
Today, I took Baekhyun with me to meet my parents. So they will finally meet the reason behind my giggles while staring at my phone screen. We've been hiding our relationship for a year now and I've been holding myself to scream every time Baekhyun sends me sweet and heart fluttering messages.
I thought they will be mad at me, especially my father since he's strict. But no, they accepted Baekhyun wholeheartedly and welcomed him to our family as their future son-in-law. I've never been so happy in my entire life and I'm so grateful to my parents for accepting Baekhyun even when he looked like he isn't serious in our relationship and will just break my heart. What made him looking like that? Ask his mullet hair.
"So it's time for you to see my parents."
I froze on the seat when I heard what he said. Baekhyun must have noticed my reaction so he grabbed both of my hands and kissed them.
"Why the face?" he poked my cheek using his forefinger.
"Nothing, I just felt nervous. It's my first time meeting them since we got together."
"Well it's my first time meeting your parents too. Don't be nervous, you'll do great like how I did." he gave my hands one last kiss before he drove away from our house.
Baekhyun's house isn't in Seoul so the moment we arrive at our shared apartment, we packed some things good for a three-day stay. He said that I should spend time with his family so I could get into their side and will accept me like how Baekhyun was accepted by my family.
While Baekhyun is busy making sure I have what I needed, I was practicing my facial expression on the mirror inside the bathroom. I must know what kind of expression I have to show so I could get a good impression from his parents. I found myself funny and would giggle at my own expression but the little fun time isn't enough to hide the nervousness inside my chest.
"Come on, jagi. Let's go to sleep. We should leave early tomorrow."
I crawled my way on the bed beside Baekhyun and laid my head down on his biceps, my favorite pillow. He turned his body so he could completely face me and wrapped his free arm around my waist.
"Baek?"
"Yes, jagi?"
"What if they won't like me?"
Baekhyun opened his eyes and stared down at me. "Why won't they? I mean, my father wants the best for me and I think it's you."
I felt better when he said those.
"Don't worry about it now, because no matter what will happen. I will always be with you." then he pressed a kiss on my forehead.

After long hours of travel, we finally came into our destination. My heart started to beat so painfully inside my chest when Baekhyun went out of the car. My feet started to feel cold and my hands are shaking. Why am I feeling like this? It's not like they'll kill me, right? If Baekhyun got into my family's side then I'll get into his family's side too, I will be accepted.
As soon as I got out, I couldn't move from my spot. That is until Baekhyun slid his hand into mine and smiled at me before we walked together towards their house.
He opened the gate and a cute welsh corgi greeted us with a happy bark, running towards us and trying to jump into our legs. Baekhyun would always tell me about his pet dog, Mongryong. So I know about him. I kneeled down and let Mongryong jump into my arms and carried him all the way towards the front door.
