"Have you seen Baekhyun?"
That has been my question to every person I meet on my way. It has been the only question that I ask since my boyfriend disappeared, three days ago.
I got out of my car and quickly strode towards Baekhyun's family's house. They are my last resort. If he wanted a break up, he could've just told me instead of leaving me without a trace of where he is.
"Oh, Y/n. What brings you here?" Mrs. Byun opened the door for me and gave way so I could enter. I bowed at her politely before stepping inside.
"I just wanted to ask if Baekhyun is here?"
Eomeoni's brows furrowed in confusion. "No, he's not here. The last time he visited was when you both went here for chuseok." hearing the conversation happening between me and eomeoni, abeoji and Baekbeom got out from their rooms and decided to join in our conversation.
"What is happening?" Baekbeom asked and I sighed before turning to face him.
"Baekhyun hasn't been home for three days now."
"What? Why?"
"I don't know. I can't call him either. He just went to work the morning before he's lost and after that he didn't return." I blinked my eyes in attempt to stop the forming tears from falling. "I was thinking that he went here without telling me because we had a small fight before he left for work. I was scared that he might want to break up with me."
"Oh dear." eomeoni spread her arms and walked closer so she could embrace me. I didn't stopped myself from crying and rested my chin on her shoulder as she ran her hands up and down my back. "Uri Baekhyunie wouldn't do that. He loves you so much."
"Where is he?" I sobbed and Baekbeom joined his mother on caressing my back to comfort me.
The whole place was filled with my sobs when suddenly the door of the house opened with so much force that it bounced against the wall, releasing a very loud sound that woke up Baekbeom's son. Eomeoni broke the hug and confusedly turned her back at me to look at the door. We all waited for the person who did such rude act to appear.
"I'm sorry."
The person stepped in and I gasped seeing...
Baekhyun.
But he look so different. His permed brown hair had turned straight and white. The way he dressed himself, so manly. Yet not so himself. He also had a face chain across his face making him look cool but in a weird way. His smile that was supposed to be sweet and adoring every time his eyes found mine, is nowhere to be seen but a devilish smirk instead.
"Baekhyunie!" I ran towards him and automatically encircled my arms around his waist and hiding my face on his chest to cry softly. Even his smell is different. It was strong and very manly.
"Where have you been?" I heard his father asked coldly. His body tensed for few seconds but relaxed right after. "Do you know how much you worried Y/n for disappearing without a contact? If I found out you cheated on her I'm going to shoot you on the head."
