"Love, I'll be going now!" I yelled across the room, to let my girlfriend know that I'm leaving for work.
"Seems like you forgot something?" she asks cutely, peeking her head from the doorway of the kitchen. Why is she so adorable?
"Oh, right." I chortled as I walked back inside and kissed her forehead before dashing outside because I'm running late for work.
"Baekhyunie! What time are you coming home?" Hana catches up before I could enter the car.
"The usual, six in the evening. Why?"
She looks away from me. "Nothing. See you later then!"
"Okay, love you!"
As what I do everyday, I did my job as usual. But just as what I thought this day would be normal, I didn't expect to be promoted!
"Let's go out for a drink! Baekhyun hyung's treat!" Sehun announced and the boys screamed excitedly, I scoffed at them.
"Aye! Come on, hyung! It's been ages since we went out for drinks!" Jongdae nudged my elbow.
"But Hana's alone right now."
"You're not married and you're acting like one. Just tell Hana you'll be late a little."
At the end, I agreed and gave my girlfriend a call before going with the guys. When I called her, it seems like there's a problem. She's breathing heavily and that made me feel worry.
"I'm sorry to tell you this late, Baekhyungie. But I went h-home at my mother's. Have fun with the b-boys then." why is she stuttering? And from the sound of her heavy breathe, it's like something is hurting her.
"Are you sure you're fine? You don't sound like one."
"Y-yeah. I'm fine. Mother asked me to do a general cleaning in the whole house and I'm kinda tired. I'm hanging up now, enjoy with the boys. Don't drink too much, love you!"
Before I could respond, the call was ended.
"Okay! Let's go drink!"
We went to the club where we used to hangout back when we're still in college and being the classic bad boys and heartthrob of the university. Looking back, we're still the same crackheads and I'm glad we're still together even after years and all the changes that had occurred within ourselves.
"Baekhyun, how many glasses did you have already?" Suho asked as he pointed to the glass in my hand. I rolled my eyes at him.
"It's the first glass, Suho. Don't be over dramatic. I'm doing good at drinking now." every time we go out to drink, Suho, our leader, would always check on me since I get drunk easily and be a total mess if I do.
