"Jongin, please take care of him for me."
"I will, Y/n." Jongin sadly smiles at me. "You've been telling me the same since earlier this morning."
I decided to leave right after the company called me, while Baekhyun is still peacefully sleeping, while those foods I made for him isn't done yet. I left earlier than expected so I don't have to hurt myself by seeing Baekhyun smile at me without knowing that I'm leaving him.
My heart feel so heavy right now. I still don't want this rest to end and I still don't want to go back to my hectic life of being a celebrity. I want to stay here, peacefully, and with Baekhyun beside me.
I'm such a bad girlfriend to leave him just like this, while he probably dreams of me. I didn't even kissed him goodbye, I just packed my things and left.
"Y/n, we can go back if you want."
I realized that I have been crying hard at the thought of not seeing Baekhyun again. Shaking my head, I wiped my tears as I tried to crack a smile for Jongin. "I don't want to leave Baekhyun."
"I know, love. We can go back if you want."
"No. I'll only hurt myself."
I went on crying as we go further and further away from Gyeonggi-do. Jongin couldn't do anything but to stare at me in pity and listen to me cry as he drove until we arrived at Seoul. He dropped me off to the hotel where I'm staying until my flight for tomorrow.
"Don't worry, Y/n. You're going to see Baekhyun. Trust me. If you two are meant to be for each other, then fate will let you meet again." he ran his palm on my hair, smoothening it down as a gesture of comfort because I still couldn't stop crying.
I sniffed for few times before I could breathe properly enough to talk. "Jongin, once Baekhyun looks for me, tell him what I really am, what I do for a living. And then tell him how much I love him and how much I'm sorry that I kept the truth within me instead of sharing it with him."
"I will, love."
I took a deep breath and thought about the next words I'm saying, feeling millions of needles plunging my heart.
"And tell him I'm breaking up with him."
BAEKHYUN
I have been knocking on Y/n's door for half an hour now but no one still answered. It's impossible that she's still sleeping because heck, it's nearly noon now. Well, I stayed up late last night that's why it's understandable that I woke up very late. I just wanted everything to be perfect for this day since it's our 1st anniversary so I planned everything we'll do today, last night.
I twisted the knob and the door is locked so I decided to get something and lock picked the door until it opened.
"Y/n-ah!" I yelled as soon as I stepped inside the house.
"Jagi?"
The whole place is oddly quiet and gloomy as I walk further inside. When I reached the kitchen, there are ingredients scattered everywhere but Y/n still couldn't be spotted.
