Y/N's POV

"Connor, how do you feel about going to a party tonight?" I asked him.

"Who's hosting it? What will happen there?" Connor replied, looking at me.

"You know, B/F/N. Don't worry, there will be other androids there so you won't be the only fish out of water. I don't know, I just asked because you've never been to one before and since you're experiencing other human stuff, I figured why not a party?" I said, smiling at him.

"That reminds me, there's another human thing which I would like to experience. However, it requires the participation of two people and requires a lot of energy, I believe. Y/N, would you h—" I cut him off before he could continue.

"Jesus, Connor! You can't say something like that in the station of all places! We'll talk about it later or something. Not now." I hissed, feeling my cheeks heat up. As if I didn't feel shy enough, Connor winked at me. I knew exactly what he was gesturing at and he would have to wait.

"What are you two lovebirds talking about, huh?" Hank asked, looking up from his desk.

"We were simply discussing human activities. In fact, one of them being—" Again, I cut Connor off before he would say something silly.

"We were just talking about going to a party. That's all." I interjected. Hank nodded and focused back on his desk, whatever he was doing on there. I turned my head towards Connor and frowned at him, although I couldn't maintain the stern expression any longer as he smiled at me.

"I guess I will accompany you to this party. After all, I don't have anything better to do tonight." Connor said.

**********

I wore a short black dress like every basic girl in the world would wear to a party such as this. Connor remained in his usual clothes despite me telling him to wear something different.

"But I like these clothes." Connor said when I raised an eyebrow.

"Oh, okay. I would be lying if I said you didn't look fucking attractive in that anyway." I answered. We made our way to B/F/N's house which wasn't far.

From outside, we could hear blaring loud music coming from the house. How the neighbours hadn't filed a complaint, I didn't know. The moment Connor and I walked in, we were already bombarded with drunk people who seemed to be having fun at least.

"Hey, Y/N! Glad you could make it! And you brought your android boyfriend too. Yay." B/F/N greeted us, although she sounded a little unenthusiastic at the last word. She beamed at me but only gave Connor a half hearted smile. Some people hadn't fully gotten over their aversion to androids. Yet she let them come to her party anyway, mostly because a lot of people we knew were now friends with androids. The more the merrier.

Connor and I walked around, talking to various people of all shapes and sizes. The androids were easier to talk to than the humans, mainly because they weren't so drunk that they couldn't recognise who was in front of them.

"Did I tell you that you looked absolutely astounding tonight? I mean, you always do." Connor said all of a sudden. My cheeks increased in heat and I found myself unable to contain a smile.

"Thanks. Why tell me here of all places? I can barely hear you. And you don't look to bad yourself, I must say." I answered.

"I realised I hadn't said anything to you when I came to pick you up before. I like complimenting you, Y/N. You deserve them, all the time." Connor said, smiling. Oh that sweet, sweet man. If I wasn't stable enough, I would've swooned. Anything he said to me, ever, was enough to make me go over the edge.
