One day later_
Hospital_
12:00pm_

Light invaded my peaceful dark slumber as I was forced awake by hunger.

The strong smell of bleach hit my nose and made me want to run out of wherever I was.

I opened my eyes completely to be met with drips and machines and a crowded hospital room with a lot of my classmates and teachers, Eina sat at my feet.

I groaned and sat up.

"Careful there," Simon leaned over and took over my vision.

I winced and shook my head before looking around for a phone as everyone looked at me expectantly.

"Phone, please," I looked at them all, Tsu passed me hers and I quickly pushed the buttons of my grandma's number and then put the phone to my ear, "pick up, grandma, pick up."

"The number you have dialled is unavailable, please revise the number you have dialled or try again later."

I frowned and jumped out of bed, crumbling to my knees before getting up again.

"Y/n," someone called me, "stop y/n."

Suddenly I found I was wrapped up in something and couldn't move.

"Aizawa please, another time, I need to get home," I looked at him, "I don't care if I'm dying or if I'm broken, I need to see them!"

Everyone looked away sadly as I was placed back onto my hospital bed but still tied down as Aizawa moved the end of the bed and looked at me seriously.

"Your family are dead y/n," Aizawa told me, I shook my head, "we all died. You're the only one left."

"You're wrong!" I shouted, tears streaming down my face, "You're wrong!"

Suddenly where all my classmates and teachers were stood, was now blood pools and their rotting corpses.

"You're wrong," I whispered again.

I jolted awake, breathing deep breaths.

"What a crappy dream," I grumbled to myself before looking around to see a hospital, but my room was empty, that's a good sign I guess.

The door opened and in walked a doctor.

"Ah you're awake," he smiled, "how're you feeling, miss l/n?"

I took a moment to figure out my reply, activating my quirks, there were no headaches or aching limbs. I was 100% OK.

"Really good," I replied, he nodded and sat on the stool beside my bed and started flipping through his clipboard.

(warning, very creative name coming up)

"I'm called Dr Dr. Alright, listen up," he told me seriously, "starting with that kid you were brought in with, her name is Eina l/n, your sister, we got her to her father who is also in hospital after an explosion that occurred at your family home."

I looked at him wide-eyed.

"I'm really sorry I have to tell you this but your mother and grandparents have passed away," he told me, for some reason my sadness just wasn't even there. I sighed and shook my head before nodding.

"I don't mean to be inconsiderate but I need to tell you about yourself," he told me, I nodded, "I don't know if you know this but it seems that one of your quirks are eating away at you from the inside out, it's destroying you, have you noticed the scars all over your body?"

"I have," I nodded, "is that because of my quirk?"

"Yes," he nodded, "we think it's because you have both, your mothers and your fathers, quirk, they're not really complimentary quirks when they're separate, but put together and it seems that because you've been mixing them on yourself as well, it's starting to affect you physically."

Well...that's an issue.

"We've only told you about this so far--"

"Don't tell anyone else," I cut him off, "I don't want them worrying about me when they can be becoming great heros. I'll be careful, so just, don't tell anyone, not even the staff or recovery girl. I beg."

I bowed to him and he frowned before nodding.

"But if it gets worse, I will have to tell them," he tells me, I nod, "you are able to leave whenever, your father is in this ward, room 5 if you want to go visit him and Eina. I have to tell you now, though, your father will be disabled for the rest of his life, he won't be able to use his quirk ever again."

"I see," I nod, "thank you, now please leave so I can change."

He nodded and excused himself as I stood up and grabbed the spare clothes left for me on a chair.

Sucks to be him, huh?

Sucks to be me too, though...

"F-f/n?" I entered room 5 to see my dad sat in a wheelchair with Eina on his knee.

"y/n," he looked at me, "You're alive, thank god for that."

I nodded and stuck to the doorway like I was glued there.

"Thank you for protecting Eina," he thanked me, "and please, if you have nowhere else to go, I want you to live with me and Eina when I get out the hospital. I'm staying in Japan."

"No thanks," I shook my head and turned around, "I still hate you."

With that, I left the hospital for good and began my walk to the train station.

For some reason today, everyone was with their grandparents. Is the world punishing me for something I didn't do or something?

It was just rubble, all the walls of my home were burnt to a crisp, the roof had caved in, the beams had snapped in half. Trees and plants were all dead.

It looked like a war happened here.

I walked through the mess and found photos still moderately in good shape and took them with me before stopping where my bedroom should've been and looked around for anything I could salvage, I found more photos and picked them up.

"y/n," someone called from behind, I turned to see Aizawa and some skinny-ass blonde guy, "can we... Talk?"

"Come on in," I gestured around, "Welcome to my humble abode, the house where I grew up, my grandparents' home since they were 28 years old. The place they were killed... I'd offer you a seat and some tea but as you can see, we don't have any."

They looked at me sadly before climbing up to where I was stood and looked around.

"All Might, it'll be best if you leave his one to me," Aizawa told the blonde.

"That's All Might?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yeah," All Might nodded, "guess you were knocked out when everything went down. I'll explain it later."

I nodded and watched as his skinny form walked away and sat down where I used to sit and play with Storm.

Damn it this place is filled with too many memories.
