He gave you a handsome charming smile, into where every girl would fall and have their hearts exploding.

He took your letter in his, kissing your hand softly hearing the words that you have been waiting for.

"Sure, I'll be glad to have you as my girlfriend"

You squealed happily, jumping in for a kiss where he quickly kissed back. You smiled under the kiss.

Three days has passed, the relationship between you and Gouenji are going on smoothly. You felt like you've accomplished something. Thinking that you have finally changed him, thinking that you're the only one he needs to make him change his attitude.

You are walking around the halls, humming into you and Gouenji's theme song, until you heard a familia voice that you grew to love.

"Gouenji, what if she discovered this?"

"Don't worry, she's too in love with me what a naive girl ne?"

"You bet"

You froze, you prayed that you have heard it wrong. Wishing that you have heard everything wrong.

"S-Shuuya?"

You stuttered, your lips quivering indicating you're about to cry.

"Oh Y/n, meet my cousin, Ace"

Gouenji smoothly said, you blinked your tears away. Cousin? You mentally sighed in relief, giving Gouenji an innocent smile.

"Oh! Alright! See you later Shuuya!"

You chirped, jumping on him and about to kiss him in the cheek when he pushed your face away. It was rather harsh.

"Aye Y/n, Ace here doesn't like seeing things like this"

Gouenji explained, giving you a soft smile before pushing you out of their sight.

"Oh okay..."

You let out a soft smile.

It's happy seeing him happy with just your simple touch, ruffling his spiky hair as he comfortably lay down on your lap. The comfortable atmosphere between you two made it romantic, the Sakura petals falling freely at the both of you.

"I love you Y/n" your boyfriend smiled, caressing your cheeks in a loving manner.

"I love you too Shuuya" You giggled, kissing the tip of his nose.

What a nice day for the couple indeed.

But...

Is his 'I love you's' real? No

Are they just an act? Yes

Do they mean something just as how his eyes portraits it? No

How pathetic.

You're trapped in your own world, the flames are rising up as you looked around at the very same room where your love for him started to ascend.

Like flames, no matter how inviting the warmth it is giving, once you've touched a part of it, you'll burn, and that hurts.

Love.

A very relaxing, and exciting feeling, it'll give you butterflies inside your belly, you will feel your face red and hot every minute you caught a glimpse of him, you will feel that your heart might explode.

But, loving someone has its own consequences. LOVE has its consequences. *It causes anger, jealousy, obssession but the thought that will remain is does he really love you?

Your naive self kept on thinking on the opposite thoughts.

You stood in a distance, eyes bawling at the scene in front of you. He caress the girl's cheeks lovingly, just how he always did to you, he kissed her lips tenderly, just how he doesn't do with you.

He'll not cheat. He said.

He would not look for another girl. He said.

All of them were just words, yet didn't put into actions.

You walked away from the scene, sobbing along the way as your eyes are blurry from the hot tears, knowing that even you hurt yourself, the reality of him another girl will remain.
