♤He's sad♤

I walked into me and Colby's shared apartment and yelled "baby I'm home" but there was no response. I took my shoes off and went into our room to see Colby with red tear stained eyes sleeping.

I don't like seeing him like this.
It's happened a couple times now and I don't know why. He's been acting really distant lately.

I sat down in our bed beside him and went on my phone. Then about a half an hour later Colby woke up.

He leaned forward and rubbed his eyes after brushing his curly red hair out of the way.

"Hey Colby" I looked at him then he turned his head to face me
"Hey" he replied "are you ok?"
I watched a tear slip from his cheek and so I straddled him then hugged him and he hugged me back like he's never been hugged before. "What's wrong" I whispered into his neck

"We've just been so distant lately and you've been hanging out with all these guys---" before he could finish his sentence I interrupted him "no Colby I was just with them cause you were always doing your own thing! I would never"

"I'm sorry" tears both slowly flowing down our cheeks "don't be" I say while pulling away so he could see my face I front of his

"I promise I will never cheat while I'm with you--and if things don't work out with us I will try to be better" Colby smiled and we kissed Colby pulled away and said "Promise"
