I got ready to go see Colby Brock.

We used to date. Then me and him had a little fun and I got pregnant.

That's why I left Kansas and came to La. I didn't want to ruin Colby's career with a kid so I had to leave. I haven't talked to him since and today he's gunna meet his three-year old son, Alex

I put on plain black pants with a blue no name band hoodie. Me and Jake Webber have always been friends. He's now my best friend and he's also the one who told me to get in contct with Colby. Jake have me Colby's number to talk with him about the meet up

I texted Colby but I never told him it was about our son so well just see how this goes.

*Texts*
Yn: hi Colby I was wondering if your still up for the meet.

Colby🖤: ya you have my address right?

Yn: ya so I'll get going in a minute if that's ok

Colby🖤: ya I'm free all day

Yn: ok see you soon

Colby🖤: ya cya

Not gunna lie I'm kinda worried he'll not want to talk to us.

That's why I got my mom to take Alex for a bit and she's planning on dropping him off at Colby's around 4 and it's 3:30 right now.

I got in my car and drove to his apartment.

I finally got there and I knocked on his door.

"Hey Colby" I say, tears forming in my eyes already

"Hey baby girl" he said in a happy voice but it's clear he was hurt

I hugged him tightly and he did back to me.

"Come in" he said moving out of the way.

I sat on his couch and waited for him to sit down

"Why did you leave me?"

This broke my heart. I watched as a tear fell down his cheek

"It's a long story Colb's" I say lightly smiling.

"Did I do something wrong, I don-" I cut him off

"No you didn't do anything I'm telling you it-- it's me Colby, something happened and I didn't want to ruin what you had"

"What happened"

"You'll see soon Colby I promise"

He nodded and pulled me in for another hug. He kissed the top of my head and I let my hands run in circles along his back

Colby pulled away and kissed me. I suddenly melted into his touch.

"You don't know how long I've wanted to do that"

"I do though, I've been wanting to do it for 3 years"

"Did you move on?"

I furrowed my eyebrows at his question.

"What do you mean"

"Yn did you find someone new" I shook my head and smiled at him

"No, it's you Colby it's always been you" he smiled

"I tried yn I tried to move on but I couldn't, you the only one for me"

Suddenly there was a knock at the door

"I'll get it" he nodded. I was shaking. A lot.

I saw my mom with our baby. Alex has always asked about his dad. Like where he was and I told him one day they'd meet little did they know, today's the day.

My mom handed me the baby bag and Alex. I said thanks and she told ms to call if I need anything and then left.

I walked in to see Colby on his phone

"Hey Colby meet Alex"

"Did your sister have a baby?"

I shook my head

"No Colby Alex is the reason I left. He's our baby." Colbys eyes widened

"C-can I hold him?" I nod

"I didn't want to ruin your career So i left"

"Thank you yn"

"For what"

"Our baby-- but it wouldn't have ruined anything for me! He is the best thing I could ask for" I let a tear fall down my cheek

"Hey Alex say hi to daddy"
