The room was dark and cold, the ground beneath Jeongguk's body was hard and very uncomfortable, the cold cement making his body sorer than it already was.

He slowly sat up, the chains that he had restricting his hands behind his back were a little too tight and irritating him as he pulled on them wanting to move around but noticed the chain behind him is bolted to an old stone wall.

He tried to pull on the chain harder thinking that it could break them instead but it still didn't work.

"Ahh you're awake, finally" a voice said off to the side of him, the very familiar voice making Jeongguk growl protectively, his eyes turning red as he looking around trying to figure out where the old man is.

"I was starting to wonder when you would, I was becoming impatient" a light suddenly flicked on in front of the alpha, his angry red eyes instantly spotting the male that became visible under the light.

"Jimin" the alpha yelled for him, the omega was blindfolded, his hands tied in front of him with rope, the skin around it is red and sore looking, his cheeks showing visible trails from his crying and the red swollen lips that show slight teeth marks.

Jeongguk stood up from the ground and walked forward, trying to get to his husband but was only able to go so far before the chains stopped him, he pulled on them harder than before, determined to get to his omega, to his mate.

Once it had failed again a laugh broke out from the darkness that was surrounding the light, the omega beginning to cry more, calling for Jeongguk, asking for help.

It hurt Jeongguk, in every way, his chest pained as his heart felt like it was being squeezed, his eyes watering up.

He wanted to help, he wanted the omega to be safe but he couldn't, he felt useless, what kind of alpha can't protect his own mate.

What hurt more was Jimin's pregnant stomach, the big bump caught Jeongguk's attention the second he saw the younger.

The old man suddenly stepped into view from behind Jimin, a smirk on his face as he stops in front of Jeongguk, he places his hand on the alpha's shoulder and pushes him back to the ground, another laugh escaping his lips.

"Choi" Jeongguk growled angrily, "jeon" the man replied back as he crouched down to the prince's level.

"It's been a while, prince" the older man had said, he then got up and walked back over to the omega, he walked around him a few times before stopping in front of him.

He placed a hand onto the omega's stomach causing for Jimin to flinch at the contact, the mans cold hands making him feel very uncomfortable and even more scared than a second ago.

"Don't touch him" Jeongguk yelled, Jimin let out a small whimper, Mr Choi let out another chuckle, "he already hates you" Jimin suddenly said, his voice shaky and cracking slightly.

"If we don't defeat you, he will" Jimin added on, Mr Choi went quiet for a few seconds before he reached his hand up and slapped Jimin across the mouth, Jeongguk letting out a growl as he begins to pull at the chains.
