Chapter 18: Mystery Girl

Chapter 18

Lucy's POV

~Timeskip, 2 weeks later~

  My stay here at the guild is becoming shorter and shorter as time flies by. I only have a week left and it really saddens me to think that i will once again leave the people that i treat as my family.

  But i rather suffer being away from my family than involving them in such a harmful event.

  But how will i say my goodbyes to my nakamas without arousing any suspisions and questions?

  Maybe i should ask Celestia some advice..

  I let out a sigh. Urgh, what will i do know?

  "Are you okay, Luce?"

  I glanced at the person who spoke. He's eyebrows, knitted in confusion. I can't help but chuckle seeing his confused but cute expression.

  This past few weeks, he started to act like my normal Natsu. Idiotic, goofy, carefree and happy-go-lucky.

  "I'm fine. Just a little bored. I guess." I said with a smile.

  "Well, we can do something about that. I call for Ice Cream!" He answered with one of his grins.

  I was about to answer but i was cut short when the guild bursted open.

  In came a hooded figure. As i can tell, she's a girl around her early 20's. Her face was covered with her hood, so i can't see her face. But something tells me that this girl is somehow connected to me. Because, i can feel strong celestial magic power flowing from her even though she's wearing a Magic Limiter. And it seems that only i can feel that power.

  But wait, i'm confused. All this time, i thought that i'm the only Celestial Wizard left after Yukino left me her keys to start a new life 2 months ago.

  Oh yeah, i forgot to tell all of you. I have all the 12 golden zodiac keys plus the 13th forbidden key. I bumped into Yukino when i visited Earthland 2 months ago for some supplies. She pleaded, more like begged. I don't want to accept it because i don't want to break her bond with her spirits.

  But when she told me that she wanted to have a normal life without magic envolved, i can't help but agree. She said that giving up her keys will lessen the pain of her memories back at Sabertooth.

  "Lucy Heartfilia?" The mystery girl said dragging me out of my thoughts. And for the first time, i noticed that the whole guild is watching her. But why do i have the feeling that her voice is so familiar?

  I stood up from my seat and took a few steps towards her but i was stopped when someone gripped my wrist pulling me behind him.

  I looked up and saw Natsu holding my wrist and pulling me behind him protectively.

  "Who are you and what do you need from Lucy?" His voice was a bit harsh.

  "Natsu...." the mystery girl whispered quietly but i managed to catch it though.

  Back at the Palace of the Stars, i managed to learn a few nature of Dragons. Such as sharp hearing and sense of smell.

  But what concerns me, is what she wants with me and why does she sounds sad upon mentioning Natsu's name?

  "I'll repeat my question. Who are you?" Natsu asked her once again. He also pulled me behind him even more.

  But the mystery girl stayed quiet.

  So being the warfreak and impatient Natsu is, he started to cover his fist with his flames.

  "Speak or i'll force those words out of you!" Oh no, he's starting to get impatient. Urgh, this guy really needs anger management lessons..

  So, in attempt to calm him down, i placed my hands on his shoulder.

  "Fighting and violence is not the solution to everything, Natsu. So, calm down." I said while shaking my head lightly.

  "But-" he was about to say something when Mystery Girl butted in.

  "She's right, Natsu. There's no need for violence. I came her for peace and good intentions.  All i want is for you all to lend me your ears." Mystery girl said. Urgh, i swear. Her voice is so familiar!

  "Luce, why would she want our ears? Doesn't she have her own?" I heard Natsu whispered.

  "IDIOT! THAT'S NOT WHAT SHE MEANT!" I shouted at his ears making him flich and winch.

  I couple of muffled laughters were heard from the guildmembers. Even Mystery Girl, chuckled lightly.

  Way to lighten the mood, Natsu...

  "So, you were saying?" I cleared my throat to catch their attention.

  "I came to talk to you, Lucy. I came to convince you about considering the idea of telling them." Mystery Girl stated.

  A few guildmates looked at me with confusion but i didn't mind them. What's important is, who is this girl?

  "Who are you?" I asked, my voice shaking.

  "You know me, Lucy. Cause i'm you."
