I was so worried about what my mom had to tell me.

"Okay guys. Danielle, both of you meet me in mine" mom declares. Hold on why am I going with Danielle and not her?

"But why-"

"Because" mom interrupted smirking. The how much I wanted to slap myself. Even in this serious situation? Really mom?

Did she really think something is gonna happen?

No, Danielle absolutely hate me for that day and that move.

"Okay then" I got in the passenger seat as Danielle drove.

"Imma plug my phone in" I informed.

"Oh uh. No chicken song or any other crazy song of yours" she warned.

"Ugh" I thought for a bit "aha!" I quickly typed the song name and soon music started. "Dare say something bad about this one too" I joked.

She smiled "I love this song!" My eyes widened "it's so beautiful!"

'Conversations in the dark by John Legend' was the song.

We sang along with the lyrics till we pulled to the driveway.

"I hope its not something so bad"

"It depends" she answered before getting out. It depends? What did she mean?

I quickly got in "guess we came here earlier than Maria"

Soon we heard the car pull.

"Take a sit, do you want anything?" Mom got in.

"Water, please" Danielle asked politely.

"Same" I said.

As she got the water she sat on the couch across of us.

"Okay what happened?" I pressured having no patience left in me.

"Uhm, uh, its something with your dad" I froze in my place. What does he want now? Didnt he have enough already? Did he find us? Are we in danger? Is everything's going back to what it was before? Questions kept going through my brain till they were cut by mom's voice.

"He wants something good actually" what? Oh no my mom can't fall in his trap! "He wants to talk, and he regrets everything and he is really sorry"
