"Hello?"
Tears fall from Peter's eyes as he hears the unfamiliar voice. "I'm sorry. I have the wrong number."
He lets out a sob and covers his mouth. "Hey, it's okay. It was just a wrong number."The man on the other end of the line says.
"You don't understand.I have the right number. But not the right person. The person who used to answer the phone won't ever again. I was just calling to hear his voice once more. Even though I knew I wouldn't." Peter sobs.
"Hey. It's okay. Can you tell me what happened?"
"He died saving the world. He was a hero. The best hero." Peter whispers. "Now he's gone and I have to continue alone."
