After that, Paul brought me back to the apartment. I knew Damian would be very mad, but I had the perfect excuse. I could tell him I stayed at a friend's house although I don't have any friends here. Luckily I had my key with me this time, so my appearance wouldn't be awkward if I had to knock on the door.

I stepped into the apartment with my eyes closed waiting for the yelling, but there was no one around. I checked the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedrooms, but there were empty. That was weird. I sat on the table thinking of an explanation when I found a little note on it.

"Vicky. I'm sorry you had to spend most of the night alone. I was very busy; I had to travel last minute to New Jersey yesterday. Arthur and Richard had to work a double shift to repair some damages they made at the restaurant. I had to leave this morning before you woke up. Richard and Arthur made breakfast for you! I'll be free in two days. I hope we can spend some time together. We can go check out other apartments! Take care, -Damian"

Oh wow. This was meant to be! They didn't notice I was gone. This must be a sign that Paul and I should be together.

I ate the breakfast Damian's friends made for me as I watched the tele. Today's rest day for me. Paul wasn't going to come day because he was going to be busy. Ahh Paul...I already miss him. My body needs him again.

Paul's P.O.V.

Ahhh. Not only Vicky's in trouble right now, but also me. Vicky's thing got out of control. I don't know why I couldn't do things properly with her. She was supposed to be my New York date only, and today I skipped important responsibilities to be with her. I'd pay any price to avoid crossing that room right now. I knew Brian would be waiting for me very angry. Oh well.

I was right; Brian stood at the door with his arms crossed as I walked in the suite. The other three were standing behind him. They all looked concerned.

"Hello there" Brian greeted sarcastically.

"Hi..." I looked down. I was very embarrassed.

"I see you're okay. My question now is: was there anything that prevented you for calling at least? And say that you weren't going to show up? You know McCartney, being a Beatle isn't just about being rich, famous, and getting everything the easy way. It's about having responsibilities too. You have to work hard to have the things you enjoy"

"Paul...what happened?" Ringo asked. He never liked when Brian scolded any of us.

"Did you forget about our interview this morning...?" John asked.

I didn't reply to any of them. I felt way too stupid.

"I'm sorry" Was all I could say.

"I understand you like to have fun here, but I never thought you would do this. You never did it before. What happened?"

"I didn't make it on time, my bad" I said quietly as I kept looking down.

"Well, we have press conference tonight. I hope you won't forget it too" He rolled his eyes before he walked out.

"You really screwed up this time, mate" George said as he sat on the bed.

"Paul, were you with that hooker?" John walked over me.

"She is NOT a hooker, John" I snorted

"Wait, what hooker? You were with a hooker? Is that why you didn't show up to the interview?" Asked George.

"Nooo" I rubbed my temples.

"Then what happened? I mean, we aren't going to judge you" Ringo was always the most understanding one.
