DEMI P.O.V.: his eyes opened widely after I said those words and I chowed down on my lip.
Joe: you're joking, right?
Demi: no, I'm not...I need to take a test to see if I'm pregnant
Joe: now? (I saw him a little pale and so, I rolled my eyes at it)
Demi: chill and yes, now. So wait here for me while I go take a test
Joe: alright (he said quietly and I headed to the bathroom)
To be honest, there was a little part of me that was nervous and dying but I had to pretend like it was all under control so Joe wouldn't pass out.
I peed on the test and left it on the bathroom sink. After doing it, I washed my hands and met Joe outside the bathroom. He was facing the bathroom door sitting in bed.
Demi: it's done (I put the timer on my phone and sat beside him)
Joe: what the hell will we do if it's positive? (I shrugged)
Demi: it's probably negative
Joe: why so sure?
Demi: well, obviously I'm late...pretty late, but I actually am not too regular with my period so it could be just that and stress. I mean, it's probably just that. Wilmer and I always got these kind of scares but it was always negative
Joe: okay (he whispered) and what if it's positive?
Demi: (I sighed) I don't know, I guess we'll need to discuss whether if we're gonna keep it or not (he nodded bitting his lip and I realized his feet was moving up and down impatiently) shh (I said to him while placing my hand on his knee to stop him from moving)
Joe: sorry, I'm really nervous
Demi: I get it (I said and sucked in my breath when the timer stopped)
Joe: it's time? (I nodded)
Demi: I'll be back (I didn't even let him talk cause I walked quickly to the bathroom)
I covered my face and gasped before glancing down at the test on the sink.
JOE P.O.V.: the anxiety was killing me until she came out of the bathroom with a big smile on her face and showing me the test.
Joe: yes! (I said happily and picked her up in my arms while we laughed in happiness)
Demi: told ya it would be negative
Joe: (I sighed in relief) that scared me
Demi: I know, me too (she smiled big and I grabbed the test from her hands) what are you gonna do with that?
Joe: I'm gonna save it in my memories box. It's gonna say "Jemi's non pregnancy" (she laughed out loud) I'll save it right now (I walked to my bedside table and wrote the quote on the test before saving it on my memories box)
Demi: you're seriously out of your mind
Joe: let's finish breakfast (she sat beside me in the bed and we ate our breakfast listening to happy music while it was raining outside) I'm not letting you go until the rain stops
Demi: yea, I didn't plan on leaving anyways (I left the dishes on the bedside table and got under the covers with her by my side) cuddle me, please (she sat in between my legs and I hugged her from behind as we both looked to the grey sky) Joe
Joe: mh?
Demi: what would've happened if it was positive? Would we keep it or not? (I chowed down on my lip and titled my head glancing down at her)
Joe: I would probably want to keep it cause it's our baby and we're not too young but...I would've done whatever you wanted to cause it's your body
Demi: (she nodded) I would want to keep it too...I guess (I smiled slightly and kissed her cheek making her giggle)
My phone rang and she handled it to me.
Joe: hello Nick
Nick: hey, as you can see, it's really raining outside...Miley is here with me and she asks if you and Demi wanna have lunch with us, all together
Joe: umm, let me see...lunch with you and Miley (I said glancing at Demi and she looked up at me smiling slightly)
Demi: sure
Joe: sure (I said to Nick)
Nick: okay cool, see you in two hours...we'll eat pasta cause Miley wants some
Joe: okay, see ya (I hang up on him and Demi started playing with our hands)
Demi: Jemi and Niley are gonna have lunch together...
Joe: yes. Oh how the tables have turned (she laughed out loud and stood up in the bed glancing down at me) where are you going?
Demi: let's go dance downstairs
Joe: why?
Demi: to celebrate (she said shrugging and I nodded)
Joe: fine
