DEMI P.O.V.: Joe laced his fingers with mine tightening his grip as we watched tv. There were three knocks on the door and a nurse opened with food.
Nurse: excuse me, here's your dinner miss Lovato
Demi: thank you
Joe: do you know if the buffet is still open?
Nurse: it is, it'll close soon tho
Joe: okay, I'll go get myself some food then
Demi: thank you
Nurse: have a good night, bye (after she left, Joe stood and kissed my forehead)
Joe: I'll go get myself a decent dinner babe
Demi: okay
Joe: will you be fine? (I nodded)
Demi: Joe, it was just a couple of exams but I'm okay, don't worry
He left and I remembered how careful he was with me during the whole bunch of studies the doctors made me go through this afternoon and couldn't help but wonder how long would his love for me last...because I was sure as hell that my love for him was forever.
He came back to the room a few minutes later and we ate watching tv, chit chatting every 2 minutes about random things. I knew the exams could turn out on the wrong way but I wasn't really worried for it. I didn't feel sick so it made me calm a bit.
Joe: freckles, you wanna sleep? It's getting late and you have to rest
Demi: yes, I want to...but I want you to sleep to
Joe: I'm not sleepy yet. I'll probably just take a nap here, don't worry for me
Demi: sure? I can always make some space on the bed for you (he shook his head smiling and turned the lights off except for the standing orange lamp)
Joe: you want me to do something else for you?
Demi: no, just give me your hand (he grabbed my hand and started caressing as I closed my eyes)
Joe: tomorrow morning we'll get the results of your tests, are you afraid?
Demi: no, are you?
Joe: kinda, I don't want anything bad to happen to you (I nodded and kissed his hand)
Demi: I'm sure we have nothing to worry about, so chill
Joe: you know I love you, right?
Demi: (I smiled and nodded) I think you've said it a few times but it's always a good thing to hear
Joe: well, everyday I love you more
Demi: oh, aren't you the cutest? (he shrugged smiling and I kissed his lips sweetly) I love you too
Joe: I think Nick knows about us
Demi: I think we were way too obvious anyways so (I shrugged with one shoulder) it's okay
Joe: I want to whole world to see me with you
Demi: you do? (He nodded)
Joe: so, whenever you feel ready...let me know
Demi: kay, I just don't want it to be so soon cause a lot of people would talk a lot of shit but...I'll let you know
Joe: nice, thanks babe
Demi: have a goodnight
Joe: you too Dems (he said kissing my forehead)
Demi: try and get some sleep
Joe: I will, don't worry (I smiled slightly at him and closed my eyes turning my body to face him and never letting go off his hand)
