JOE P.O.V.: I went upstairs after cleaning the dishes and found Demi doing her make up in the bathroom. I smiled and she turned around to look at me.
Demi: you like my outfit? (She asked spinning around on her feet and I chuckled nodding)
Joe: yea, it looks good. Don't you think is a little too cold to dress like that?
Demi: nah, it's at lunch so (she shrugged) I'll be fine
Joe: okay, if you say so...tell me, what should I wear?
Demi: just some jeans and a t-shirt
Joe: not shirt? (She shook her head)
Demi: it would be too much
Joe: hoodie? (She glanced at me)
Demi: I think it'd be cool if you wore a leather jacket
Joe: sure? (She nodded)
Demi: I like how that style looks on you, you've always been a rockstar (I laughed and entered to the bathroom with her)
Joe: you can do my make-up too (she contained a laugh as she did her eyes makeup)
Demi: like in Camp Rock, you mean? With those pink glossy lips? (I laughed and she chuckled)
Joe: you can laugh all you want but I remind you that someone used to be all in love with me even when I wore lip gloss
Demi: you're right...that was the moment when I turned bisexual (we laughed and I tickled her a little causing her to glare at me) don't you fucking dare Joseph, I need to finish with my make-up
Joe: wouldn't it be a shame if I ruined it? (I said smirking at her and she rolled her eyes)
Demi: grow up already (she said and I walked to my bedroom)
Joe: I think we both know I'm grown up (I heard a giggle and smiled)
Demi: whatever. If you're ready, we can go (she said walking into the bedroom and grabbing her purse and phone)
Joe: let's go then (I grabbed my jacket but didn't wear it, and we left in my car)
Some minutes later we were walking to the door of the event's room where the birthday lunch was and we both had our sunglasses on.
Joe: do you think they'll remember me?
Demi: you're famous, they probably do
Joe: yea but I mean...remember me from...when we dated (she smiled slightly)
Demi: maybe, don't worry tho...most of them follow me on my social networks so (she shrugged) they probably know we're friends
Joe: okay (just when we entered everyone came to greet Demi, and since I was there with her, me too)
Dianna: Joe, son (she hugged me) how are you?
Joe: I'm good and you?
Dianna: good too. It's super nice to see you, thank you for coming with her, she wouldn't be here alone (I chuckled and Demi nodded beside me)
Joe: well, this is what a best friend is supposed to do
Dianna: of course (Demi's dad arrived and stretched my hand)
Eddie: hello, how are you?
Joe: I'm fine sir and you?
Eddie: sir? Come on, I know you since you were a teen (we laughed)
Joe: okay, sorry Eddie
Eddie: much better
Dianna: you guys can go sit there (she said pointing to a table for 7)
Joe: okay
Eddie: we're gonna sit with some relatives too, I hope you don't mind Joe
Joe: oh no, it's okay for me
Demi: he'll probably just talk to me anyways (we laughed and I nodded slightly)
They sat on the table and Demi grabbed my arm making me look at her.
Demi: can you take some pics of me? Please, I wanna post something
Joe: right now? (She nodded)
Demi: before eating so I look skinnier (she said shrugging and I smiled at her)
Joe: okay, give me your phone
We walked to another place and I took some pics of her before giving her phone back to her.
Demi: thanks
Joe: you like them?
Demi: yea, I really do
Joe: that's cool (we were going back to the table when I said quietly something to make her feel more confident) you'd look as beautiful after eating. You always are gorgeous
Demi: (I saw her blush a little by the corner of my eyes and she glanced at me while taking a seat) thanks Joey
