DEMI P.O.V.: the next Saturday it was the birthday of one of my aunts. I woke up in Joe's bed with him staring at me.
Demi: the fuck you're doing?
Joe: trying to wake you, and it worked (I chuckled)
Demi: morning
Joe: morning freckles (he smiled down at me and I sat up covering my body with the sheets) your hair really looks messy today (I laughed)
Demi: well, after last night's events, it's pretty obvious
Joe: I'm making some coffee for us since it's a cold day
Demi: oh, that's awesome cause I'm freezing (he smiled and caressed my back up and down trying to warm me a little) thanks
Joe: get up so we can eat something before you go
Demi: I actually...today is my aunt's birthday and my mom really wants me to go
Joe: you're not leaving without breakfast (I chuckled and shook my head)
Demi: no, it's not that. I was just wondering if you'd like to go with me to that party (he raised his eyebrows and I instantly knew what he thought) no, don't worry, it's not that. Maddie is on a trip with a friend and Dallas is working so they won't go to the party and I'll be alone
Joe: oh, what time?
Demi: lunch (he nodded)
Joe: sure then, you're taking me as your clown or something (I laughed)
Demi: maybe
Joe: anyways, you need to get some clothes?
Demi: no, I brought some in case I needed to go from here to there
Joe: then, let's go eat breakfast and then you can shower and change (I nodded)
Demi: yep
Joe: how do I have to dress up?
Demi: nothing too fancy, it's just a big family reunion
Joe: what are you gonna wear?
Demi: you'll see later
Joe: okay (we headed downstairs and had breakfast while watching the news) we won't have to dance, right? (I laughed out loud)
Demi: no, we won't and stop overthinking about it. We'll be fine, we just have to eat lunch with them, do some chit chat, laugh at some bad jokes and yea (I shrugged) that's all
Joe: okay then, I think I can do it. I'm used to laugh at your bad jokes so (I laughed with him and hit his arm playfully)
Demi: you know I have a great sense of humor! That's not fair
Joe: yea yea, sure you do (I rolled my eyes laughing and stood up)
Demi: whatever Joseph, I'm gonna take a shower
Joe: too bad I already took mine (I smirked at him and shook my head)
Demi: I didn't invite you anyways, but thanks
Joe: oh come on, you'd love me to fuck you there (we laughed and I stuck my tongue at him)
Demi: shut up (I went upstairs and got under the water quickly to get ready)
I wasn't sure if taking Joe along with me it would be a good idea or not, but I enjoyed his company and I was going to be alone if he didn't go with me.
