JOE P.O.V.: we left my parents house when the movie finished and I drove Demi to her house as she leant her head on the seat sleepily.
Joe: here we are
Demi: thanks for driving me and just being an amazing friend to me. I had fun
Joe: me too, maybe we should do it again soon...if you don't hate my dad (she chuckled and shook her head)
Demi: of course I don't, he was sweet to me before we left so it's okay (I nodded) next week? (I pressed my lips together) you can't?
Joe: we gotta go to Canada with my brothers, work (she nodded slightly) sorry
Demi: no, it's totally okay. You need to work...I'll see you the other week then
Joe: sure (we hugged) I'm gonna miss you tho
Demi: yea, me too, but sex will be just awesome once you're back (we laughed and she grabbed her bag) anyways, see you soon. Love you, bye
Joe: love ya, bye (she left the car and I went back to my empty and lonely place)
The next week and weekend I spent it with my brothers most of the time. We were invited to a party with some artists in Canada on Saturday but we declined the invitation. Kevin doesn't party, Nick wasn't feeling it and me neither. We were all in a hotel room eating together when Kevin stood up from the table to call Dani.
Kevin: be right back
Joick: sure (he left us there alone and Nick glanced at me)
Nick: why didn't you wanna go to the party? It sounded cool
Joe: alone? No thanks
Nick: you've gone alone to others before (I nodded)
Joe: yea but I'm not in the party mood
Nick: you miss her, don't you?
Joe: who? (I asked with a frown and he smiled slightly)
Nick: Demi
Joe: Nick-
Nick: before you say anything just let me clear that up (I nodded). You've been sleeping with her every weekend for the last almost two months...it'd be completely understandable if you missed her even if you're just friends
Joe: yea, I kinda miss her I guess (I said and sipped on my beer)
Nick: I'm sorry for the way I acted at first when I found out who were you benefiting with. I've been thinking in you guys a lot and I realized that I was just afraid for you both
Joe: afraid?
Nick: I know I'm not as close as I was with her but she's special to me and you're my brother and I don't want you to hurt each other in any possible way
Joe: well, you can chill. I definitely don't plan on hurting her and, by the way she's acted with me since we started with this...she won't hurt me anyways
Nick: I just wanna make sure there's still no feelings involved. Cause the last time you felt someone for each other, it ended up with her in rehab and you being a mess
Joe: (I chuckled) yea right, everything's okay, relax. No feelings involved
Nick: sure? (He asked eyeing me suspiciously and I nodded)
Joe: couldn't be more sure
Nick: great then
Joe: what about Miley? Should I be worried for you? Is she gonna break your heart?
Nick: (he smiled shaking his head) I don't think we've ever been better. This is a real grown relationship. I love her, she loves me, we connect pretty well, everything is just perfect between us
Joe: you don't plan on marrying her, do you? (He laughed and I chuckled) when are you gonna propose?
Nick: I don't know yet...maybe next weekend
Joe: cheers to you guys then
Nick: cheers (he said and we both sipped on our beers after clinching our bottles)
