JOE P.O.V.: my dad sighed and we heard the doorbell ringing.
Paul: I'm gonna open the door (I closed my eyes in anger and he left with my mom to open the door)
Kevin: Joe, calm down...please
Joe: he's acting childishly (I walked closer to a window to watch Danielle, Demi, Alena, Valentina and Frankie all talking and smiling outside)
I have to protect her at all cost
My parents came back to where we were before with Nick this time.
Nick: hey guys
Kevin: hey
Joe: hey Nick, good that you're here cause I was just telling something to our parents
Nick: what's going on?
Joe: why don't you tell us what's going on? (I asked to my dad and he sighed)
Paul: Joe brought Demi along with him
Nick: did you?
Joe: yes, we were together drinking a coffee when mom asked me to come so I thought it wasn't nice to leave her without inviting her
Paul: you could've told us about it Joe
Joe: you never cared before. She was always welcomed here. She wanted to leave before knocking on the door because she was afraid you'd treat her the way you're doing and I had to convince her that you'd welcome her as always...and you didn't, you didn't! (I said angrily and my mom shook her head slightly)
Denise: Joe, I'm sorry, it just surprised me that you brought her. But I don't have nothing against her
Joe: well, he does (I said pointing to my dad and he nodded)
Paul: you know everything she did to Phil and the whole team, you know she became a mean person after the overdose she caused herself (I chuckled angrily and Nick talked before me)
Nick: it wasn't her decision dad, she's an addict and no one helped her when she asked for help
Paul: well, I don't care, Phil didn't deserve all that hate after giving everything to her
Kevin: dad please...
Joe: listen, you don't know the way Phil works with us and worked with her. It's not all nice and perfect. And of course, I stand with her in her fight with him, cause I know a lot of things (my brothers nodded)
Denise: what kind of things?
Joe: it doesn't matter. But Demi didn't do anything bad to me or to y'all. Did she do something bad to you? (I asked Nick and he shook his head) to you?
Kevin: no
Joe: to you mom?
Denise: of course not
Joe: and to you, dad?
Paul: (he sighed) no
Joe: I just wanna ask you to make her feel welcomed here. That's all. If you don't, I'm out of here for good
Paul: are you dating her?
Joe: no (I frowned) and what if I was? Any problem with it? (My parents shook their heads) nice to know. Maybe you'll see her around a lot more now. We're best friends

Joe: yea, I know you are...you made her feel like trash. Now, excuse me, I'm gonna see the girls
Nick: I'll go with you (we left the living room and met everyone in the patio)
