~~~Author's Notes~~~
Hiiii beautiful person reading this, I wanted to put my authors note first this time, because I have an important question: Are there any specific unexplained/implied parts of tmr/pre-thomas coming into the maze, that you would want me to write about? I'm just curious, because I'm writing to entertain you guys, so yah.
Eventually *most likely halfway through this story* "To Love" is going to start lining up with TMR book. Like Brianne and Newt's POV's explained chapter by chapter compared to the real book, so once I get to that point in the story, updates will start coming faster *simply because I don't have to write my own storyline*
Ugggghhhqhshdjjdkf, this chapter isn't my best. I'm sorry if it stinks. I'm having an awful week. I want to quit all of my school activities agdjjdkfkd. *Just trying to stay real with you guys lol* But ily all!! Writing makes me feel better. Everything about Wattpad makes me feel better. But mostly y'all make me feel better. Like comments and votes and such!!! You guys are my favorite people ever :P and you guys are hilarious!! Some of your comments OMG I still laugh at how funny they are.
BUT YAH HAPPY DECEMBER!!! HOLY CRAP, WHAT THE HECK 2014 IS ALMOST OVER!!! IM STILL MENTALLY IN JUNE! LIKE WHAT EVEN?
~~~Brianne's Pov~~~

I woke up with a raw feeling in my throat, my eyes itchy and most likely bloodshot. My head pounding from all of the yelling. My body aching from the strenuous activity I went through last night. My entire being tired. Tight. Exhausted.

I tried to clear the scratchy feeling in my throat to no avail. I blinked a couple of times, ridding my eyes of any fresh tears.

I heard the door open, but I didn't really feel like moving.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Victoria entering the Medjack's room.

"Sleep okay?" She asked tentatively. The sound of her footsteps echoed closer and closer to the bed.

I didn't answer.

"You can't lie there all day." Victoria reached out and touched my arm, "Those aren't my words, trust me. If I were in charge, I'd let you sleep."

I inhaled deeply. Since the moment I woke up in the box, everyone's always told me how I 'can't do this' or I 'couldn't do that.' There's never been a day that I could freely do whatever I wanted.

I want to feel free.

"Look, I know it was a rough night-" She started, but didn't finish her sentence. Victoria sighed, "You don't feel like talking, I guess." She walked over to do something on the other side of the room.

I wanted to be irritated with Victoria for the things that I heard last night; how apparently she's spreading rumors about me. But I couldn't find it in me to be mad.

I don't even think I'm mad at Amelia and that's saying a lot.

"Somebody died." My voice croaked out. I swallowed my saliva, trying to get my voice to smooth out a bit, "Right next to me." I turned my head, so that I could see Victoria.

"I know, it stinks." She said, her voice soft and full of sympathy. Something Victoria had, since this moment in time, lacked.

"But you don't know," I huffed.

"Yes, I do. Do you seriously think Stephan's the first person to die here? Because he isn't. Have you not seen our graveyard in the deadheads?"

"I have, but that's not the point. He died right next to me."
