Thirty (Period Blues)

"Man, i feel so sick because of my period cramps." You said as soon as you entered Jaemin's apartment.

You went straight to the couch and laid comfortably on it.

Jaemin on the other hand went to his room to get some pillows for you.

"Babee" You called.

"Hmm?" He answered as he handed you the pillows.

"Here, use these." He said.

You smiled and cuddled on his pillow.

Jaemin chuckled and sat next to you.

You were just starting to get comfortable when you suddenly felt uneasy.

Ughhh i think my pad's full . .. You thought.

You rolled your eyes and stood.

"Where you going??" He asked as he hugged the pillow you left.

"Comfort room." You plainly answered.

He shook his head and thought— well here we go again.

You quickly checked if your pad was full and you were right...

Your pants also had blood stain in it.

"Shoot! I don't think i brought some extra pads with me. Ughhh what do i do?? Did his couch had blood stain too?" You worried.

You had no choice but to call no one else but your boyfriend.

"Babeee? Jaemin." You called out.

"Yeah?" He answered.

He knocked on the door soon after.

"What's the matter?" He asked.

"Uhmm, can you do me a favor??" You shyly asked.

"Come on babe. Just tell me what's the problem." He sighed.

"Wait, uhmm...can you check if there's some stain on your couch?? Or some sort of dirt or something?" You asked nervously.

"Even if there is, it's fine. What happened?" He replied.

You sighed. You were just too embarrassed.

"Okay, Uhh... I need napkin." You said.

"It's right there in the cabinet on the right, babe." He answered.

You chuckled 'cause you already expected him to say that.

"Nooo, i meant sanitary napkins." You said.

"Ohhh." He said.

You heard him laugh at himself and you face palmed.

"I had blood stains on my pants so I can't go outtt." You said while biting your fingernail.

"Okay, I'd be back in a minute. I'll go buy some napkins." He said.

You never expected him to be thaaat concerned and plus! He didn't even hesitate on buying those stuff for you.

"Thanks babeeee." You answered.

You heard him rush out of the apartment while you awkwardly waited for him in the bathroom.

While waiting, you received a call from him.

"Babe, what brand do you use??" He asked.

"Uhm any will do. Just pick the ones with wings on 'em." You replied.

"With what? Wings? Man this is a whole new world for me." He said and you heard him laugh.

"Yup. I know, sorry for bothering youuu." You said.

"That's fine babe. I'll just go pay for these and be back." He said and you hang up.

After a few minutes, you heard a knock on the door.

"Here's your napkins." He said.

"Oh you're back. Just place them in front of the door pleasee. Thank you." You said.

"Okay. I'll be in the living room. Take your timee." He said.

You quickly got the things you need and you were surprised that he also got you some of his shorts for you to use for the mean time.

You smiled in awe.

"Thanks babe!" You said.

Once you were done with your business, you went directly at his living room.

Once he saw you, he patted the seat next to him.

"Ohhh Cutieee~ Come here." He said with his biggest smile.

"These are too big..." you said pertaining to the shorts he lent you.

He shook his head and spread his arms out wide.

You snuggled close to him and watched your favorite series.

You were hugging his waist while his hand ran through your back.

"Your cramps must hurt so bad." He said and he suddenly kissed your forehead.

"Hmm. It suddenly did. But it'll be better soon." You said while your eyes were still focused on the show.

"I know what could make you feel muuuchh better." He said.

You looked at him and gave him a "what" kind of look.

"Ice cream?" He said as he wiggled his eyebrows.

You chuckled and slapped him lightly.

"I'll go get it. Wait up." He added.

He came back with a huge tub of ice cream and chips too.

"Yayyy!! But why did you bought so much snacks?" You said as you grabbed the ice cream in his hands.

He shrugged and you guys continued to cuddle while spending the evening binge watch your favorite series.

He really never fails to surprise you with the littlest of things.

And that's what you appreciate more and more every single daaaay!
