Chapter Forty Four

----------------------------

I followed Aidan towards the only seats not surrounded by staring antics. I sat down and felt awkward; as if one of these people were going to jump up and eat me.

The minutes passed and nothing changed, conversations began and ended just as quickly. That was until a certain brown haired teen entered the room, in more than a rush mumbling apologises to the teacher for his lateness.

Which that teacher solemnly accepted asking him to take his sit with the words of “Take your seat Mr Taylor”

With that he sat in front of me “Hey” He said slightly breathless.

“Hello” I said a smirk appearing on my lips.

“Do you mind if I take you out for a few hours after school?”  He asked charmingly

“Sure, I guess...” I said

“Aidan is that alright with you?” He asks

“Yeah” Aidan replied not even bothering to look up in his direction

“So to where will you be taking me?” I asked curious

“It’s a surprise” He winks

“I hate surprises!” I whined

“No you don’t” He smirks

“I can’t remember if that’s true or not, but meh!” I complained

“True, anyhow did you finish those canvases?”

“How did you know?” I asked quizzically

“They’re sticking out of your bag”

“When do I have Art?”

“Next lesson, I’ll take you there if you want” He smiled

“No need my dear friend I will assist this young lady to Art” A voice interjected

I looked up to see a Tyler Gray standing in between me and Zach. “It’s okay I can do it” Zach said rather too quickly.

“No, no”

“Yes, yes”

“Why are you so persistent?”

“Why are you?”

“Because...”

“Because...”

“Seriously you want to start this now?”

“You’re right, later it is.”

“Geez boys, boys, boys” I laughed “You can both take me to class if you keep on arguing...”

“Fine” They both said at the same time making me laugh more than I was a second ago.

The bell rang and up on our feet we were. Both boys were dying to carry my bag and walk me to my class. Which wasn’t even far enough to complain about - as soon as I walked in I saw projects laid out in glass cabinets. From photographs to collages there was four canvases in view easily noticeable who drew what.

Two caught my eye the ones drawn of me. One was what I would say was a great attempt and the other a master piece. Making me feel instantly ashamed of what I drew last night. I looked at the detail of the one I hope Zach drew as it was nothing like me, it was perfect...

I knew I had to sit down, but I couldn’t take myself away. Well I did eventually as I didn’t want to seem as if the accident had knocked a few brain cells out of me.
