Skulduggery: I'm joking. I know how it feels. Trust me. My whole family was murdered in front of me
Valkyrie: I'm sorry for your loss
Skulduggery: I've had plenty of time to feel sorry for me and for people to feel sorry for my loss.
Valkyrie: It's just... Gordon was always the best you know. If it weren't for him, I would've never met you
Skulduggery: Wow he did grant you your greatest wishes
Valkyrie: I have a feeling you're talking about the "fortune" of meeting you rather than Gordon here
Skulduggery: I just don't think Gordon or his Echo-stone self would be too happy if you grieved his death
Valkyrie: But I can't just get over it
Skulduggery: You have to.
Valkyrie: I can't
Skulduggery: Gordon gave me a lot too. He gave me great adventures, he was a great friend and he allowed me to have the best partner that I've ever had
Valkyrie: Oh that's me!
Skulduggery: Although you are just my second partner so you don't have much competition for being the best partner. My previous partner simply didn't have your sense of humour
Valkyrie: I'm the best partner out there, trust me.
Skulduggery: I don't think my ego can handle yours being so big
Valkyrie: He can certainly try overtaking my ego but I think it'll be a futile effort
