"bitch shut up he's isaiah todd" i say, as my lips form in a smirk. this guy is mad cute, and im lowkey mad i didnt meet him earlier.  he could've been my man now.

i have seen him leave flirty comments on my ig posts, and i did respond to him most of the time. so i guess, we're doing ourselves a favor.

i smiled down at my phone, and didnt bother to respond but waited for him instead. i was on ig scrolling through my feed, and also checked my notifications.

i chuckle at his comments, when i heard knocking.

"hey" he says, looking at me from head to toe.
"hey" i mumble, as we share hugs and i inhale some of his perfume. wow.

"you look good" i say to him, as he shrugs and he licks his bottom lip,
"nah, look at you though. looking fine as ever" he says, making me blush slightly and smile.

skip car ride and dinner
"i gotchu" he says taking off his shoes, making me look at him confused.
"what will you wear now?" i ask him, and giving me his pair.
"i aint a basketball player for nothing" he says, taking another pair of shoes at the back seat. isaiah bought me to this carnival where there was also a drive-in.

"holy shit" i mumble to myself, and felt him look at me making me turn to him.
"what you've never been here before?" he asks, as he assembles the blankets at the back of his car. i chuckle slightly, looking back at the screen.
"no. i haven't been in a date like this before" i say to him, as he looks at me with his brows furrowed.
"stop lying" he says, as he turn to face the screen as well.
"im not. the past ones were all dinner dates and tbh i was sick of it" i say, turning to him who was already looking at me. well shit.

"not like i didnt enjoy your company a while ago-i did, but you get the point right?" i say to him, and he chuckles. he puts his arm around me and pulls me to him. i can hear his heart beat, and it was fast.

"you're heart's so loud" i say randomly and he chuckles,
"it is?" he says and i nod as a response.
"sorry but you cant really blame me" he says, making me look up at him only for him to wink at me. i stayed in his arms for the rest of the night, and i felt myself feeling sleepy.

"y/n?" i hear isaiah say, making me flutter my eyes open.
"oh did i wake you up?" he says moving a bit,
"no you're okay" i say leaning back from him,
"d'you wanna sleep inside?" he says standing up, i was too tired to even get up.
i grab his wrist and put his arm back around me,
"no you stay out here with me" i say, putting my head on his chest, and feel myself drifting to sleep.
