Brixton's P.O.V.

She's calling me. I wonder how the phone call went.

"Kitten?"

Houston gives me a look.

"Reign? Reign?"

No answer.

"Can you hear me? Where are you? Reign?"

Again, no answer. I don't hang up the phone, but I start gathering my things. I wonder where she is. She could be in danger.

"Brixton! What's wrong?"

"Something's wrong with Reign. I'm sorry to cut lunch short, but I have to find her."

"Do you need help?"

"No, it's alright. I'll find her, safely."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I know who she had lunch with, so I can figure it out."

"Call if you need anything."

I wave my hand at Houston as I exit the bar. I hang up Reign's call, dialing Nick's number.

"What's up?"

"Where did you have lunch today?"

"Dickson Court South. Why?"

"Reign called me but didn't answer."

"Maybe a butt dial."

"I don't think so. I'm going to look for her."

"If you need help, just call. When you find her, call us then too."

"I'm going to take care of her first, then call you. And it's if I find her."

"You'll find her, Brix."

I hang up the phone, determined to find my girl. I set my car in drive and hastily (but responsibility) get to Dickson Court South. Alright, so I know where she started, but where did she go. She always goes towards a library, makes her feel safe. The Powell Library is down the street. I start heading that direction when I see a group of people sitting on the grass. I open a picture of Reign on my phone, and I walk up to the group

"Hey, I was wondering if any of you had seen this girl."

One of the guys nodded his head, his eyes wide.

"Yeah. Beautiful girl."

"That's my girlfriend."

"Oh, shit. Sorry man."

"I know she's beautiful. How did she look?"

"Distressed. Looked like she was going to cry."

"What way did she go?"

"Towards the Collections library."

"Thank you so much. I truly appreciate it."

"Is everything alright? Can we help?"

"No, it's fine. She called me but didn't answer, but I bet she's just studying."

"We'll probably be here if you need help finding her."

"Thank you, but it'll be fine. I have a feeling I know where she is."

In the library. Of course. I quickly speed walk away from the group, my strides long. Once I see the building up ahead, I make my way inside the library. I walk up to the librarian behind the counter.

"Have you seen this girl?"

"Yes, back corner. Is she alright?"

"Now, she is. Thank you."
