You never really liked school parties, but your best friend Kevin had invited you to the prom and you couldn't say no. Your mother bought the dress. It was a very cute blue dress, although you didn't feel very comfortable with dresses, you agreed to wear it. Kevin picked you up with his car and your mom made you smile for a photo before you left.

"You look beautiful.", Kevin told you when you stood at the entrance of the house for the photograph. You felt your face flush when you saw Kevin looking you up and down.

"You're not too bad either.", You said and he smiled.

"Thank you. It was my mother who helped me choose the suit," he said.

After the photograph your mother said goodbye to you with a kiss and said to have fun at the prom.

Kevin drove to the party and when you parked in the school park, music was already heard.

"Ready?" He asked, and held his hand out to you as you headed towards the party.

"Yes, I'm ready.", You answered with a smile, and held his hand.

It was the last night at school. You had to take the opportunity to have fun, because you knew that soon life would change. It was the end of the school days.

When you joined the party some people were already dancing animatedly to a Bee Gee's song.

"This song is great!", Kevin exclaimed. "Let's dance!"

But in that moment you let go of his hand. He looked at you confusedly.

"What's wrong?", he asked.

You were so embarrassed to say it.

"I don't dance...", you said. "I don't know how to..."

The look of worry in Kevin's face changed to a smile.

"That's nothing to be embarrassed about.", he said. "You just need to follow the rhythm. It's easy."

"Maybe for you it is easy. But not for me.", you said. "I never learned how to dance... I think I have two left foots."

Kevin laughed at you.

"Do you trust me?", he asked.

"Yes."

"So follow me. I'll teach you how to dance."

"Right here? On the party?", you asked.

"Don't you trust me, (Y/N)?"

"I guess I do."

"So, let's go."

Kevin held your hand, guiding you to the dance floor. You've seen Kevin dance before and he was an excellent dancer. He swirled around himself on the dance floor and then straightened the tie on his suit.

The Bee Gee's song was almost over and was soon replaced with a ballad by Bryan Adams. Kevin came closer to you, holding you in his arms and smiled.

"This one is easier.", he said. "Just follow my rhythm, okay?"

You nodded.

Kevin was leading the dance slowly. You simply followed his moves.

"I told you I would make you dance.", he said, still holding you.

"I never knew it was so easy.", you said. "But I had a wonderful teacher too."

Kevin smiled.

"Did I tell you how beautiful you look tonight?", he asked.

"Only once.", you said, and smiled.
