Nightmare x Reper~ Dance with me.

Nightmare's POV:

I sat boredly in my office, almost everyone at the castle gone to do missions or go on a date with their loved ones. Sigh.... I'd like to do that to but... no one would fall in love with me... he would never fall in love in me.

Reaper, the only one left at the castle right now, the ever so shorter skeleton that managed to warm my cold heart with just a single smile. But he would never like me, he had enough negativity in his life already, he didn't need more.

I honestly don't know why he joined, why he stayed, when it was obvious my aura was hurting his mind... thought I suppose negativity and death do get along, maybe his aura is drawn to mine?

As I was deep in my thoughts, trying to figure him out for a millionth time, my little enigma walked into the room.
''Hi Nighty!'' he said happily.
''Oh, hi Reaper.'' I said with a slight blush as I was ripped away from my thoughts.

He was complicated, absolutely entrancing I could never get bored of him.

''Are you busy?'' he asked as he looked at the stack of papers on my desk.
''Always.'' I said half jokingly.
''Pfffhahaha you need to take a break.'' he said as he pulled me up from my chair.

''And what am I supposed to do on a break?'' I asked, my mind becoming useless goo when I looked into his stunning blue eye.
''Dance with me!'' he said as he smiled up at me.

''O-okay... thought it's been a while since I last danced... I might be a bit rusty.'' I said awkwardly.
''It doesn't need to be good. You just gotta have fun doing it.'' he said with a smile.

I smiled back at him before putting us in a dance position, one of my hands on his waist the other holding his hand, his other hand resting on my shoulder. It then began a simple waltz, step forward to the right, step back left and again.

(Trying my best to remember stuff from the dance classes I had when I was 7.)

We swiftly moved through my office getting more and more confident with each step, spin him around, left, forward, right, back, dip him down.

We both laughed as we continued to dance away, the world around us disappearing. Forward, right, back, left, spin, dip.

He clung to my shoulders as he almost tripped because of sudden movements, we both giggled slightly as I brought him back up.

We danced for few more minutes before finally stopping, we panted slightly, our cheeks flushed from the effort.
''Hehehe... Thank you, I didn't have such fun in a while.'' I said with a tender smile.
''It's nothing really.'' he said shyly.

''Now there's just one thing missing from making this moment perfect.'' I said as my arms sneaked around his waist, pulling him closer.
''A-and what is it?'' he asked as his blush darkened.

''This.'' I said before kissing him. He yelped in surprise but kissed me back immediately as his arms wrapped around my neck. Our lips moved against each other in their own little dance as we brought each other as close as we physically could.

''I love you.'' I said as I pulled away.
''I love you too.'' he said as he pulled me back into the kiss.

Perhaps he planned it all? I could never know with my little enigma. But... that's exactly what I loved about him.
