"ive missed you."
his words repeating in my head. after our talk, we all went to the set of julie's house to begin filming again. i couldn't help but notice charlie was more lively, he was playful and nailing his lines perfectly.
we were moving to film some scenes by the garage when charlie randomly just screams out "what's everybody favorite musical movie?"
"who gave charlie drugs?" owen jokes and everyone laughs. charlie just shrugged his shoulders. "im just having a good day today." he says glancing at me and smiling. this boy is the death of me.
"my favorite musical is hamilton" madison answers charlie's question. "thank you madison, jeremy what about you?"
"the high school musical movies are top tier, the second one is my favorite." jer says. "taste" i compliment him and he gives me a fist bump. charlie's eyes find mine. "what about you olivia?" he asks coming a bit closer to me.
"i absolutely love the greatest showman but i would also like to mention the honorable mamma mia." i tell him and i see his eyes light up.
"i knew you wouldn't let me down!" he says and runs to jump on a ledge.
"charlie please be careful! i dont want to have a heart attack today!" kenny yells as he comes closer. charlie smiles and points at me. "this is for you olivia!"
"mamma mia, here i go again
my my, how can i resist you
mamma mia, does it show again
my my, just how much ive missed you!"
he sings out, not breaking eye contact with me. everybody else gathered in a small group in front of him. swaying back and fourth.
"yes, I've been brokenhearted
blue since the day we parted
why, why did I ever let you go?
mamma mia, now I really know
my my, I could never let you go!
-kenny! pick me up!"
he acts like he's going to fall in kenny's arms while kenny panics, moving quickly to get closer to him, making sure he doesn't fall. i stay in place, a bit stunned at his little show. i bite my lip trying to hide my smile, shaking my head.
"it's the still being madly in love for me." madison says softly next to me.
"he's just being dumb" i deny, even though the butterflies in my stomach say otherwise.
"okay people! lets get to filming!" kenny yells.

the rest of the day flies by smoothly. everybody went on laughing and having a good time.
"okay everybody, that's a wrap for today! enjoy your day off tomorrow!" kenny tells everyone.
we all say goodbye to kenny and head back to owen's trailer to plan what we will do on our day off.
"i say we go explore the city" madison says. "okay but what if we get bored?" jeremy argues.
"why dont we go on a hike?" charlie asks "we can explore there and see some animals." madison snaps her head at him. "charlie ain't nobody trying to exercise on our day off." she says as she shoves him a bit, laughing.
"what do you think olivia?" owen asks me. i shrug at them. "i really dont care what we do as long as there's food." they laugh at my response. "right so how about we meet at our place, go for breakfast, explore the city to see if we can find anything and have a sleep over?" owen suggests.
"WE CAN HAVE A KAREOKE NIGHT" madison says excitedly. we all agree to the plan.
"okay guys, see you all tomorrow! dont forget your underwear!" owen yells as we head out his trailer and say goodbye. "come on liv, lets go home." he says putting his arm around me. i feel the redness spreading on my face.
"you guys came together?" charlie asks, staring at owen's arm around me.
"yeah we made a pact with each other." owen tells him looking down at me. i smile at him and look back at charlie. he had an unreadable expression on his face looking between us two.
"owen drives like a maniac though. if i die, it's on him." i joke and owen gasps dramatically. "i only almost killed us like 3 times!" he exclaims and i laugh. charlie keeps his gaze on me. "see you at home dude." owen says turning us slightly. "bye charlie" i say looking back at him, his glare now directed to owen.
"he was a bit weird, dont you think?" owen asks me.
"it's charlie, he's always weird." i answer him, charlie's face still on my mind.
we get inside his car and he starts the engine.
"alright liv, play your music!" he says as we start to drive away. i smile at his excitement.
he's so cute.
